Vinnie, that's awesome! How did you manage that? I wish I knew how to remove text or watermarks as cleanly.

Anyway, here's an updated version of the skin, with a slightly cleaner splash screen, thanks to vinnie!

Mortal Kombat, a theme based on the game series. This implementation works best on widescreen displays.
Not many new icons here (aside from the attack icon) but you do get avatars for the classic MK fighters plus a a few other famous martial arts characters.

@RumbleBBU: it is very simply! with gimp and g'mic. Here's the first guide I found. It seems almost magical, but I think it works well for irregular backgrounds.

I looked at the forum and I have no idea what the difference between Manalink and Shandalar is if any. They seem to be updates to the same game. And if either of these are stable and working or half the cards are bugged and have no AI like in Forge. Or how to install them, aside from, install A,B,C,D,E,then patch to latest (that's what, 30 threads of patches?), all of that with big warnings everywhere that none of the patches are compatible with anything else on the forum...

Assuming these are made by hex editing like I did MoM, I rather not do something like manually add hundreds of patches made by different people with zero guarantee of compatibility and an unknown order of dependence. Does a version exist that can be downloaded and played without additional patching, works and is bug free? (even if it does not include the latest set(s). I quit the game 8 years ago, I won't miss cards I never heard of.)

It is true manalink and shandalar are part of the same game but the first are the direct match (as forge) and the second is the free roaming.

Up to a little time ago, they weren't unable to add the cards to Shandalar, but only for manalink.
Imho for now the biggest flaw is that with all those cards is really difficult to navigate when you can buy/rewards them.
