[fixed]]Magosi, the Waterveil both abilities
by Korath » 27 May 2017, 05:26
Describe the bug:
Magosi, the Waterveil doesn't make you skip a turn when its second ability resolves, and doesn't bounce itself when you activate its third ability.
Also, if it did make you skip a turn, the effect text would still read "Take an extra turn after this one." instead of "Skip your next turn." (That's what I was looking at it for in the first place.)
Which card behaved improperly?
Magosi, the Waterveil.
Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Dev 6309079.
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Skipping a turn is an effect of the second ability; bouncing is a cost of the third.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
No.
Release version looks like it bounces correctly, but gives your opponent an extra turn instead of skipping your next one. The difference matters for Final Fortune (and its sorcery-speed functional reprints Last Chance and Warrior's Oath), Savor the Moment, and Medomai the Ageless. Though I know Medomai is broken, and I don't think the others properly acknowledge the difference anyway.

Yes, in release the card behaves as you say.The effect card for skipping a card is empty though and has the elemental icon. The effect card for extra turn correctly says "Take an extra turn after this one."
