Field of Souls should only trigger for your non-token creatures, instead of all non-token creatures.

The card text is wrong, but the card works fine. It will be fixed in the next release.

I have been unable to block since the latest update. With or without F Keys being used, almost every opponent combat has skipped from Declare Attackers (cast instants, etc.) to Declare Blockers (cast instants, etc.) and is skipping right past the assignment of blockers.

This is happening in Standard matches. I wish I had some additional info to provide.

I could not declare blockers if any of opponents flying creatures attacks my planewalkers with Angelic Wall or any other flying creature of mine.

I had a Nissa, Voice of Zendikar under my control and my opponent had a Curse of Predation targetting me. When they attacked Nissa with their Bloodbraid Elf, the Curse of Predation triggered on it. I don't think this is correct, and there is an oracle ruling explaining this:

"The ability won’t trigger when a creature attacks a planeswalker controlled by the enchanted player."

Combustible Gearhulk has two choose "targets". You choose target for the ability and then xmage makes you choose an opponent who makes the choice. This is not correct. Only the targeted player should be able to make the choice.

Fixed in the next release.

There seems to be an issue with Urza, Academy Headmaster in Freeform EDH. Whenever you try to start a freeform commander game with him in the command zone, nobody will draw any cards. The game is simply stuck. If you choose to play with him in your deck, and you use a different commander, it becomes possible to start the game. However, it is not possible to search your library. Whenever you try to search it, nothing happens. Unfortunately, I never got to see what happens, if you indeed draw him. (i.e.) Whether the game freezes.

This issue occurred for the first time with version 1.4.33V2, and continued to be in 1.4.33V3. IIRC, Urza, Academy Headmaster didn't have an image assigned in version 1.4.33V1 (he worked perfectly fine at that point in time). So I used a custom image. At first I thought that this image may have caused this predicament. However, deleting the image, and downloading the new image did not change the described behaviour. The game still froze with him as commander. I hope this information help you in any kind of way.

I couldn't update Java from Linux. The launcher updates XMage client and server, but when it tries to download Java from Oracle, it keeps trying to download but doesn't work.

I've tried to download it manually from the link that is shown on the launcher log, and it shows me an error. So, I think the problem is on Linux Java x64 download link from Oracle.

Try to use ipv4 fix for launcher -- run it by command line:
java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar XMageLauncher-0.3.8.jar

If that's help for updates then use same fix fir client (see instructions in the link).
