I updated on Sunday (I think) and have had a lot of weird play errors since:

Some planeswalkers (Daretti, Scrap Savant) come into play with 0 loyalty and die right away. Others are fine.

The AI is able to target any permanent anywhere for any effect, it seems, even with Core decks
- Auramancer bouncing an opponent's Scion of Oona that's on the battlefield
- Qasali Pridemage sacrificing for its effect to destroy Garruk's Companion

Nevinyrral's Disk is now destroying all lands.

I'm not really sure what's going on. Curious if anyone else has experienced anything like this.

Fixed. The D14_PLW.LOL file was just missing a comma. Unfortunately, the way LUA works, if any part of a script has a formatting error, then the entire script fails, and the filter functions specific to the CW reference the PLW functions (for checking if something is a planeswalker), so those were failing, too.

Also, if you want to update your Community Wad Sync.exe, it's been updated. I just realized that when it encounters an error syncing, it was never resetting that count. It's supposed to reset when it successfully syncs, and then only ask you to update your CW GD directory if it encounters 10 in a row (set in the ini), because if it tries to sync while GD is downloading the new version or while it's gone 'cause my computer is updating it, then it shouldn't bother the user with that unless it continues to be an issue. With it never resetting, it would always wind up complaining after it had been running long enough. tl;dr: It works better, now.

Thank you! Also, I never set up the syncing. I might look into it now.

By the way, how can I edit cards in the WAD? I was thumbing through the deck editor and I noticed small mistakes that I could help fix. Mostly rarity errors (seems common with Tarkir mythics) and syntax (like the second word on a keyword line being capitalized). There were a few gameplay-impacting ones that wouldn't be too bad:
Bone Dragon was costed at 1UU instead of 3BB
Tezzeret, Artifice Master draws 3 cards instead of 2

In addition, and I haven't played with it, but Glittering Wish is in there? I didn't think it was possible.

EDIT: I forgot I why I didn't set up automatic updating: the one link was dead and I didn't know if there was a replacement option that works.

For the record, the section about the syncing tool was just info for everyone in general. But in order to find it, go to the website (my signature) and go to installation. There's a working link there to the folder that it's in (the direct link needs updated, but the folder link still works fine).

As for how to update cards, it's pretty simple. PM me and I'll get you set up. The actual editing is basically: right click the card in the deck builder and choose "view card" to get the code, ctrl-v to copy it, paste it into a text editor (I like notepad++). Make the changes needed and save it (the filename will be at the top, and it'll need to be an XML file; if you're using Windows' built-in Notepad, make sure to choose UTF-8 encoding on the save screen). Upload that file, and that's it. (I'll explain the upload in the PM.)

However, the double-faced cards need updated to actually reference their backsides. It's simple: just put in a new REVERSE_FACE tag with the filename of the other side.

there are so many busted cards that just do not work or break the game
