Question about sounds and SFX in DOTP2014...

Anyone know what format the SFX in DOTP2014 are in and what tools we would need to make our own new SFX?

Also, is there anything stopping us from making an SFX that has no visual component (but has empty visual files) just so we can add a sound effect? Like, Planeswalkers saying things when their abilities are used (such as in Arena).

Most of the sounds are in MP3 format, though at least one is in OGG format.

You could always try to set up the SpecialFX Emitter with a blank name, but adding a sound attribute.

I did and it didn't work, but I'm not sure I did it correctly. So, it might be worth someone else giving it a shot.
