Can't open xmagelauncer with Java?

It will only open it with winrar, i have tried to open it with java but nothing happens.
i have even tried uninstalling both java and winrar then installing java again, but nothing works.
does anyone have a clue about what to do?

Use that instructions (steps 5+) to create command file and run launcher by it.

I have tried more than once updating java, i have also tried uninstalling and then installing it again but with no help.

You must create "run-launcher.cmd" file in xmage's launcher folder (same folder there you put downloaded XMageLauncher-0.3.8.jar);
Edit it with text editor;
Put line in that file:

Code: Select all: java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar XMageLauncher-0.3.8.jar

Save as ASCII encoding file and run it by double click.
