Forge keeps dying on me. It leaves the app at random moments, but it always happens when I try to create a new deck. This is the log file. It just dies. I tried it with the "download card picture" option turned off also. Always happens.

Forum won't allow me to send the log file in the body of the post.

Hi,

I love this game and have played MTG since 1996. Forge seems to have crashed and I get the following every time I try to load my quest deck. Amy help would be appreciated as I would loose 100 plus hours of gaming if I have to start over.


I tried to log the issue in my post but was blocked as it thought my post was to Spammy. I have included a log of the issue in the file comment section.

Whoa.. 1.6.9 is a very old version. Each quest has a backup file in the same directory called something like quest.dat.bak. Rename that to quest.dat and you should have the previous save of it.

UPDATE (01/19/20): Forge for Android v1.6.32.001 has been released. It's a version based on the 1.6.32 release of Forge. Enjoy!

IMPORTANT: There seems to be an issue with the inability to update from 1.6.30.001 to 1.6.32.001 from within the game (the game lock ups on "Checking for updates"). If you are affected by this issue, please download and install the .apk file from the first post of this thread manually, the game should then finish updating correctly (the assets should download etc.). Sorry for the inconvenience.

If I tap castle garenbrig for creature mana, and then undo it, two lands remain tapped and i have no mana floating.

I can't download card pics from within the app(it just says scanning for items), can someone link me to where they are downloaded from so I can manually install them?

The menu for Agonizing Remorse is a little bit hard to use because you have all the cards that you can select mixed. It would be nice if you have the cards in hand in one menu and cards in graveyard into another one. Today I tried to exile a card from my opponent's hand but he had the same card into the graveyard too, I exiled the one into the graveyard by error.

I'm having the same issue. Haven't played in a few days, openes it up tonight and it hangs on "Checking For Updates." There's a little blank line across the bottom as if its trying to open up the update option but wont go past there. No motion on the progress bar either.

I had this problem too with the last version. What I did to fix it was to make a backup of the Forge installation folder, delete the Res folder from that backup. Then delete the app and the original folder, make a clean install. Then it will tell you that you need to download the new Resources, this will create a new Res folder. Copy that folder to your backup and delete the NEW installation folder. Replace it with your backup and that should do it.

The backup is very important because otherwise you would lose all the images.

Thassa, Deep-Dwelling end step trigger is not working properly. It returns enemy's creature back to them even though it's suppose to blink them under my control

Forge was working fine until today. Some cards of theros beyond death just disappeared from the game. Instead of THB it appears ??? in the set description. I have some of those cards already in some of my decks and they just disappeared. I notice that for example terror of mount velus is not in the Theros Beyond death.txt file inside the Editions folder. I re-dowloaded this entire folder again but the problem persist. I will upload a capture showing what I mean.
