Unable to install xmage

Hi guys,

I downloaded the xmage and java files from the xmage site. When i doubbleclick the launcher the black window appears for a short time, then disappears and thats it, nothing happens after that.

Do you have any ideas how to solve this issue? Using Win10 64bit.

Just a guess, but do you have java already installed?

The launcher will download its own versions, but you need a version of java installed to run the launcher in the first place.

You can see if you have java and its working by going to a command prompt, (search "cmd" in the start menu) and type 'java -version' at the prompt. If you get nothing, then this could be the issue.
