I don't know if this is a bug but the card "Nethroi, Apex of Death" from Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, don't apper on your database.

My apologies, reread the main thread, will post 12 more separate posts now.

2. 'Shaman of Forgotten Ways' was not working for creatures intermittently. Including a general in the general zone. General was 'Gargos, Vicious Watcher' (3 player, humans only game).

3. 'Razia's Purification' does not highlight cards as a part of choice action. It will also not let you unselect cards, or mistakenly choose 2 of the same card (technically legal I suppose?). (4 player, humans only game)

4. AI will untap their own creatures with 'Maze of Ith', 'Reconnaissance', and similar effects - if they attack.

5. AI will block with creatures that gain life to block creatures of similar toughness. IE 'Wood Elves' vs 'Soul's Attendant'. This 'weighting' is not equal, nor does it matter what the life total is. AI will also only check power vs toughness. It will block a 0 power creature always even with 'Doran, the Siege Tower' or similar effects in play. In addition, it will not block with deathtouch tokens in order to kill larger targets.

6. AI will often cast instants on their turn. Ideally, instants should be saved for either threat or end step prior to AI's turn (IE 'Tithe', 'Terminate', etc). If they do not, then they may use on non-threatening targets (IE 'Swords to Plowshares' on 'Reclaimation Sage' entering the battlefield when there are 8/8's with abilities out).

7. AI will use spells on themselves meant for threats for mana (IE 'Path to Exile')

8. AI will use reflexive abilities and effects at the beginning of enemy 1st main phase, instead of during the declare blockers step (IE 'Boros Reckoner's first strike, or 'Comeuppance'). In some cases, they will use prevention on their turns (IE 'Angel's Grace). In other cases they will use abilities that don't really make sense in response to spell's being cast (IE 'Hanweir Battlements' haste effect during an opponents turn on a 'Stuffy Doll'...).

Further research has yielded they want to activate abilities strictly in response to opponent actions. IE Goblin Balloon Brigade, being given flying, 5 times in a single turn, once in response to each action by a player - while tapped and not the AIs turn.

9. AI will not block to stop game loss (IE commander damage, life total too low therefore block largest non-trample-rs, etc).

Edit: Confirmed that it will not even block if just lethal damage is coming through (IE 21 damage and life total is 20).

10. AI will target indestructible targets with abilities (IE 'Manglehorn' against 'Darksteel Ingot')

11. AI will activate 'Command Beacon' while the commander is in play (I suspect they're not programmed for commanders, so feel free to disregard, I'm using it for deck testing purposes).

12. AI tapping 'Aether Vial' to do nothing each turn. AI activating 'Sensei's Divining Top'. each turn merely to draw a card - and in response to literally any action. AI always paying 8 life a turn to use 'Sylvan Library'.

Edit: I watched the AI just responding to each trigger with an ability. This resulting in pouring 12 mana into 'Sensei's Divining Top' and spending all of their life save 1 into 'Necropotence'.

13. Occasionally a computer is randomly declared a winner. It has happened to me twice now, both times AIs in a 2 human/2 computer games. They seem to be on long run on turns (10+ minutes). Is there some sort of setting I am missing?

Hi Pio,

Not to answer for anyone else, but if I am not mistaken they're still working on the mutate mechanic, which is not an easy implement. I read that somewhere else. It could be awhile, since it's tricky.

If 'Homeward Path' is used to restore control of creatures, then the player who controlled 'Homeward Path' loses the game, all the creatures are returned to the player who stole them rather than remaining under the control of the owner.

(Game was 3 players, 2 AI and 1 Human)
