Slow performance for longer games?

Oh, you helped me a lot, pitzer. I have almost the same version of linux machine and the performance of the game was pretty poor (it shouldn't be, obviously). Your tip helped me to fix the issue and now the game flies. I'm happy because this game reminds me of my childhood and the endless battles with my bro in LOL. Oh, we spent nights playing this game and fighting with each other. Unfortunately, I lost my old acc there but figured out that I can buy a league account without any problems on the net.
