For the first part of your question, you could manually edit the manalink.csv file and just delete everything you don't want to use. For the second part of your question, I'm pretty sure it should be possible but I don't know how.

Jatill, could you make an "Erase" button on custom set editor, to remove cards from Custom Library that people don't want to use?

Thanks! [-o<

Erase is a bit over the top - hiding them would be enough.like a box behind the name , if checked it will get hidden the next time you check the list ... and of course an option to view "hidden" cards.
Retired a long time ago. I will not reply.

My intention is to construct a library with Standard and Extended cards only, leaving empty all the others slots to the cards that will come!

I'm uploading my set editor code base just in case I ever disappear like Mok did. Maybe our resident packrat can back this up to his machines.

Hi, I'm facing a very big problem that don't now if it has already been reported yet.
I've seen that there is something getting wrong with the custom editor with a bunch of cards. Anyway, I'm copying Thelon of Havenwood in slot 766 and Necrite in slot 778.
Each time I copy Thelon, Necrite is messed up since the editor copies back the original card code in the exe but leaves unchanged the art and CSV part. As result, I get the old 1/1 black creature that forces both players to discard a card. When I tryu to restore the original Necrite, Thelon is changed back into a blue 1/2 creature.
I can't have both of them at the same time and I'm also sure that there are at least other 3 cards that are behaving in this way. I can't tell wich are but I can barely see them when the custom editor closes.
This is a very annoying matter, really! maybe I can try to change place but this would mean to "kill" some important card that I've added until now. :(

Guys, I'm seriously in need of help.
I'm getting crazy with the custom version editor. Now it is clear that there must some mistake somewhere because, when I copy some cards, the program automatically restore other cards'data from constructed or limited edition's Magic.exe file. Eg, I've tried to move Thelon of Heavenwood from a new slot and now problems are no longer with Necrite but with Gomazoa. If I fix gomazoa by re-copying it, I have Thelon not working.
Please, let me know what you thing is going on! This matter is consuming!

I can't belive that I am the only one facing this kind of troubles, but now I've got something even worst: I've just found that refreshing the whole library has caused the editor to add a tons of clones of customized cards only.
Now I will try to re-download all the custom editor files but I strongly doubt that it will fix anything. I?m just glad that I did my personal magiclopedia so I know how to restore cards without messing up decks.

This is the list of messed up cards:

Good to know that I'm not alone! Anyway, now it is official: custom editor is broken and full of bugs. New refresh attempt with up-to-date custom editori files and the results are a lot of duplicates and a big, big mess in custom version.
Hope somebody may fix it, because the base idea is great but, as it is now, it can't be used.

Ah, so funny: I'm trying to restore my cards after the refresh & mess up but guess what? the Custom Editor has also overwritten cards in locked codes with "--".
Also, it has changed some single-coded cards' ID, messing up the whole cards directory.
So this mean that I whould have to start over... but I did made a backup copy before. Lol!

@Enchanteur: "sets"? What do you mean?

@Jatill or anybody: may I know which tools and code language have been used to create the custom editor tools?
Please, let me know asap.
