Consistency Shantak, awesome beautiful hands are great, but if you can't get them, then they are useless
That being said, if anyone wants my analysis on their decks etc, let me know, I'm happy to give opinions about what might make things more consistent.

Round 2:
Match AB:
Juzamjedi vs Scherbchen1
As Juzamjedi (2:1, Juzamjedi +1pt)
1st game, I have t1 Goblin Lackey and win on turn four.
2nd game, I keep a slow hand and am punished for it.
3rd game, I have vial and Blood Moon and the rest of my hand is brutal, too.
As Scherbchen: (2:0, Scherbchen +2pts)
1st game, a quick Progenitus wins.
2nd game, I mull to 5, but have Coiling Oracle to stop his lackey. After Wasting me, the AI is stuck on one land for a turn. Progenitus shows up and wins.
Match CD:
Jatill vs Taron
As Jatill (1:2, Taron +3pts)
1st game takes ages. By the time I find Natural Order, the AI already has Platinum Angel (luckily it is too stupid to equip Lightning Greaves, which would be GG). After more ages of me drawing walls and the AI doing nothing (it had 'conceded', not playing its spells) I draw a Path ftw.
2nd game, when the AI gets Progenitus I still have not drawn any action, despite 5 Wall of Blossoms.
3rd game, I could play t3 Natural Order, but have drawn Progenitus. So I have to wait some turns to discard it, fearing Simic Sky Swallower will not be enough. Then, the AI Eureka's its Progenitus, leading to a stalemate - me with SSS, AI with Platinum Angel. This time, the AI does Lightning Greaves the Angel and I scoop.
As Taron (2:0, Taron +2pts)
1st game, t3 Progenitus wins past his walls.
2nd game, I mull to 5 and would have had t2 Progenitus, if not for the AI's Swords on my Elf. This way, we trade Progeniti on t4. I get Eureka and a Lighning Greaves and then Platinum Angel. Play Eureka, equip Angel, win. (technically, I made the AI scoop here, as it had multiple Walls of Denial and I didn't feel like playing it out. I both had more cards in Library and Angel now protects from decking.)
Match EF:
Cognis vs aww1979Jundinator
As Cognis (2:1, Cognis +1pt)
1st game, I mulligan and am screwed on white the whole game. To make matters worse, I draw a lot of white cards (3 Paths, 2 Swords, 2 Skyfisher). I stall with Finks and Goyf, Sarkan Vol even threatens to win, but it is not enough.
2nd game, its the AI's time to be screwed. I win easily.
3rd game, we remove our early threats and trade 2-for-1s (my Bloodbraid Elf and Kitchen Finks for his Bituminous Blast and Blightning). I eventually win by the AI 'conceding'.
As aww1979Jundinator (2:1, aww1979Jundinator +1pt)
1st game, I get totally flooded (drawing lands only after my first 7). I loose.
2nd game, I remove everything and win with Goyf + Bloodbraid Elf.
3rd game, his path thankfully gets me out of colorscrew. The AI does some smart plays, too, like Skyfishering a half killed Kitchen Finks. It is quite hard to win with the few spells I draw (amongst, again, countless land), but eventually I get there.
Match GH:
Discoransom vs Yggdrasil
As Discoransom (2:0, Discoransom +2pts)
1st game, AI gets me to 2 life with early pressure, but then cannot topdeck burn before I start attacking with Baneslayer Angel.
2nd game, AI has no early pressure, but nice late game with Balefire Liege and multiple Bloodbraids. Still, that doesn't stop Baneslayer Angel from winning.
As Yggdrasil (2:0, Yggdrasil +2pts)
1st game is an easy win. I play some guys, the AI can't deal with them, I win.
2nd game is harder. AI discards a lot of my good stuff before I can play it. But it never gets scary creatures, only Grotesque and Tidehollow Sculler. Figure of Destiny wins for me.
Match AB:

Match AB
Juzamjedi vs Schrebchen 2-1
Schrebchen vs Juzamjedi 1-2
Juzamjedi: 4 points
Schrebchen: 0 points
Match 1 (Schrebchen AI)
Game 1: AI plays turn 2 Kitchen Finks so I can’t attack with Goblin Lackey. On turn 4 AI plays Progenitus but I play 2 Goblin Piledriver and Goblin Matron for the third, I also have Goblin Warchief in play. I attack and put the AI to 10. AI attacks and puts me to 7. I play Goblin Ringleader and get another Goblin Piledriver. I attack and put the AI at -42.
Game 2: Mulligan a no land hand for a one land hand with Aether Vial, I topdeck and play Goblin Lackey. AI plays Progenitus on turn 4. I put the AI at 10 but I die the turn before I could win.
Game 3: AI plays Control Magic on my Goblin Warchief with Goblin King in play. I block with the king and play Goblin Ringleader with Aether Vial but get no goblins. AI plays Fact or Fiction and discards 2 Natural Order. I draw lands for a few turns but then get Goblin Matron and go for Siege-Gang Commander which I put into play with Aether Vial leaving me with 4 mana and goblins to sac, AI is at 21 and I’m at 12. AI plays Control Magic on Siege-Gang Commander so I sac him and another goblin for a stolen Goblin Warchief and 3/2 Kitchen Finks. I play Blood Moon and the game stalls for a few rounds. I try to play Goblin King but it gets countered by Force of Will. AI is at 27 and has a ton of creatures but I get Goblin King, but I don’t attack since I can only do 25 damage and I need one more goblin for the kill while a stolen goblin token attack puts me at 8. I get Goblin Ringleader and put the AI at -14. There is no way I would have won against a human player. Only stupidity of the AI let me win.
Match 2 (Juzamjedi AI)
Game 1: I can’t seem to get a second land so I have to mulligan to 5 and still have only one land. Opponent plays Goblin Lackey and puts Goblin Ringleader in play before I’m able to draw a 2nd land and play Wall of Blossoms. I try to stall with Kitchen Finks but an increasing goblin army and my mana screw puts me to -37.
Game 2: With a turn 1 Goblin Lackey the AI amasses a horde and puts me at 6 but I topdeck Spike Weaver and prolong the match. I play Natural Order for Progenitus and still have 2 counters for Fog effect which should give me 2 attacks with Progenitus to put the AI from 20 to 0. The AI had 2 Gemplalm Incinerator but played it instead of cycling it. A human player would win but the AI didn’t know how.
Game 3: With Wasteland AI leaves me only with U mana. I have Coiling Oracle but the AI has 2 Goblin Piledriver. With no mana to play it’s basically just a wait to die. I finally get a third Island and go out without a fight. I was sure that this deck would win but three bad draws were too much to handle.
Match CD
Jatill vs Taron 2-0
Taron vs Jatill 2-0
Jatill: 2 points
Taron: 2 points
Match 1 (Taron AI)
Game 1: I have a wall army and play Simic Sky Swallower then the AI plays Naturalize on its own Lightning Greaves followed by Eureka which puts Platinum Angel in play but I have Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile which I use to exile AI’s green creatures so Progenitus wouldn’t hit the board. I leave the angel alone since I think the AI will be stupid enough to block with it but it didn’t. Jatill your coding taught the AI how to use it and nearly cost you the match when finally a green creature survived a second for Natural Order and Progenitus but luckily I drew Natural Order after playing 2 Wall of Omens and Wall of Blossoms. After that Swords to Plowshares took care of Platinum Angel. It’s just the when the angel left play AI’s life went to negative immediately which shouldn’t happen, but I guess it the best that can be done.
Game 2: I put a few walls into play and exile all green creatures AI has. I’m able to play Progenitus but the AI plays Eureka and puts Lightning Greaves and Birds of Paradise in play. He has three mana so he equips Birds of Paradise and plays Natural Order which puts Progenitus in play and kills them both. Good play but I had Simic Sky Swallower and another Natural Order. A good matchup, Taron would have a definite advantage if the AI would know how to play Lightning Greaves with Platinum Angel.
Match 2 (Jatill AI)
Game 1: Turn 3 Progenitus puts the AI at 6. AI plays Natural Order and kills both of them. I play Eureka and put Progeniuts in play while the AI plays 3 Simic Sky Swallower and puts me at 3 but thankfully Progenitus finishes the job the next round.
Game 2: I decide to risk it and keep a hand consisting of 2 Evish Spirit Guide, Noble Hierarch and Natural Order. Noble Hierarch survives the first turn so Progenitus enters on turn 2 and ends the game quickly.
Who of these two decks will pass is hard to say. Taron has an instant win combo with Platinum Angel and Lightning Greaves but it depends a lot upon the opening hand while Jatill can start with almost any hand and stall the game for a few rounds and just explode with Overgrown Battlements putting Simic Sky Swallower or Progenitus in play. All in all a tough matchup for both decks.
Match EF
Cognis vs Aww1979 1-2
Aww1979 vs Cognis 2-0
Cognis: 0 points
Aww1979: 5 points
Match 1 (Aww1979 AI)
Game 1: The AI had an answer for everything I played and overrun me.
Game 2: It was a long and hard match but I was able to stay in it with Kor Skyfisher, Bloodbraid Elf and Eternal Witness. Later I stabilized with Wall of Reverence and Elspeth, Knight-Errant. After Dragonmaster Outcast and indestructible permanents it was over. I however saw a bug when an indestructible Tarmogoyf dealt damage it stayed on the AI’s creature in the next round so when the creature was damaged again they added together killing it. It made no difference on the game but it’s something that should be fixed in the future.
Game 3: Bituminous Blast into Bloodbraid Elf into Blightning was a bit too much. The AI proceeded by clearing my creatures and swarming over me. A tough matchup, but as I thought Aww1979 has the advantage.
Match 2 (Cognis AI)
Game 1: Oppening hand – Mountain, Bayou, Badlands, Terminate, Sprouting Thrinax, Maelstorm Pulse, Bloodbraid Elf; I play first
Turn 1: Play Badlands
AI - Plains
Turn 2: Draw Blightning, Play Bayou
AI – Forest, Wild Nacatl, I play Terminate
Turn 3: Draw Mountain, Play Mountain, Blightning (Wild Nacatl, Elspeth, Knight-Errant)
AI – Mountain, Wild Nacatl, Dragonmaster Outcast
Turn 4: Draw Tarmogoyf, Play Bloodbraid Elf into Lightning Bolt on Wild Nacatl, Sword to Plowsahes on elf
AI – fetch land, Kor Skyfisher for land
Turn 5: Draw Blightning, Play Sprouting Thrinax
AI – Forest, Eternal Witness for Elspeth, Knight-Errant
Turn 6: Draw Diabolic Edict, Play Tarmogoyf, attack with Sprouting Thrinax and take out Dragon master Outcast and Eternal Witness, Diabolic Edict for Kor Skyfisher
AI – Path to Exile on Tarmogoyf, I fetch Forest
Turn 7: Draw Tarmogoyf, Play Blightning for Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Tarmogoyf; AI 10, Me 20
AI – Wild Nacatl
Turn 8: Draw Bituminous Blast, Play Bituminous Blast into Tarmogoyf; AI 2
AI – Imperial Recruiter
Turn 9: Draw Maelstorm Pulse, Play attack and win
Game 2: Oppening hand – Mountain, Swamp, Forest, Bayou, Diabolic Edict, Tarmogoyf, Bloodbraid Elf; I draw first
Turn 1: AI – Savannah
Draw Maelstorm Pulse, Play Bayou
Turn 2: AI – Plateau, Tarmogoyf
Draw Badlans, Play Badlands, Tarmogoyf
Turn 3: AI – Forest, Kitchen Finks
Draw Sprouting Thrinax, Play Forest, Sprouting Thrinax
Turn 4: AI – Mountain, Bloodbraid Elf into Kor Skyfisher for land
Draw Badlands, Play Badlands, Bloodbraid Elf into Diabolic Edict for Bloodbraid Elf, attack with elf and beast and take out Kitchen Finks and Kor Skyfisher, a better trade for me
Turn 5: AI – Mountain, Imperial Recruiter, Dragonmaster Outcast
Draw Bloodbraid Elf, Play Mountain, Bloodbraid Elf into Lightning Bolt for Tarmogoyf, attack with Bloodbraid Elf and saproling tokens to take out Kitchen Finks, Imperial Recruiter and Dragonmaster Outcast, another good trade for me
Turn 6: AI – Forest, Path to Exile on Tarmogoyf for Forest, Wall of Reverence
Draw Bituminous Blast, Play Diabolic Edict for Wall of Reverence
Turn 7: AI – nothing (it had Plains and Sarkhan Vol)
Draw Swamp, Play Swamp
Turn 8: AI – Elspeth, Knight-Errant and makes a token, I play Bituminous Blast into Lightning Bolt and damage Elspeth, Knight-Errant
Draw Bayou, Play Bayou, I accidentally attack the AI instead of planeswalker so I have to play Maelstorm Pulse on it
Turn 9: AI – Scute Mob
Draw Sprouting Thrinax, Play Sprouting Thrinax, attack with saproling and thankfully AI blocks with Scute Mob although it was at 21 and had 5 lands
Turn 10: AI – Bloodbraid Elf into Path to Exile for Sprouting Thrinax (Swamp)
Draw Bloodbraid Elf, Play Bloodbraid Elf into Diabolic Edict for Bloodbraid Elf
Turn 11: AI – Wild Nacatl
Draw Lightning Bolt, Play Lightning Bolt for Wild Nacatl
Turn 12: AI - Plains
Draw Maelstorm Pulse, Play attack
Turn 13: AI - nothing
Draw Broodmate Dragon, Play attack, Broodmate Dragon, AI 9, Me 17
Turn 14: AI – Swords to Plowshares on dragon token
Draw Blightning, Play Blightning for Sarkhan Vol and Plains, attack and win
It was a tough matchup, but any human player would have won by not blocking with Dragonmaster Outcast and Scute Mob and playing Sarkhan Vol, still it was a good match, I just hope other players will be able to annul the point difference
Match GH
Discoransom vs Yggdrasil 0-2
Yggdrasil vs Discoransom 2-0
Discoransom: 0 points
Yggdrasil: 7 points
Match 1 (Yggdrasil AI)
Game 1: AI played Wooly Thoctar on turn 2 and although AI’s decimated his hand I didn’t have enough creatures or removal since almost all the cards I had were discard or lands. A convincing win for Yggdrasil.
Game 2: AI has an amazing start and even pumps Figure of Destiny to the max but topdecked Vindicate gives me a shot after I chump blocked twice with Solemn Simulacrum, I exile Balefire Liege and go on the offensive with Shrieking Grotesque. AI’s at 8, I’m at 15 and have no creatures in play while the AI has Birds of Paradise which he saved by sacrificing Kor Firewalker and Qasali Pridemage to Diabolic Edict. AI plays Bloodbraid Elf cascaded into Lightning Helix, I respond with Swords to Plowshares and the AI is at 14 and I’m at 12. I exile Figure of Destiny and enter topdeck mode to draw my 12th land in 20 rounds. I have nothing in play when AI plays Bloodbraid Elf cascaded iinto Wooly Thoctar while I’m at 10 but I topdeck Tombstalker which holds the offense and Diabolic Edict which takes out Bloodbraid Elf while keeping Birds of Paradise and Wooly Thoctar. AI plays Lightning Helix and it’s at 14 and I’m at 4 but I topdeck Baneslayer Angel but the AI get’s Figure of Destiny and maxes it out on the next turn followed by Swords to Plowshares. A really close game but discard loses power in the long run since they just become dead cards when your opponent has no cards in hand anyway.
Match 2 (Discoransom AI)
Game 1: On turn 3 I have Birds of Paradise, Kor Firewalker, Qasali Pridemage, Figure of Destiny and Bloodbraid Elf in play. It’s over a few turns later.
Game 2: AI plays Hymn to Tourach on turn 2 and makes me discards 2 Swords to Plowshares. AI plays nothing until Baneslayer Angel, AI’s at 5 and I’m at 22 but have no cards. After we both attack AI’s at 1 and I’m at 17 with 2 Wooly Thoctar, a 2/2 Figure of Destiny and Qasali Pridemage. He plays Tombstalker but I attack with everything and win. Another close match but I think that Yggdrasil will cruise into the semifinals.
@Monopman: Thanks, it took me two tournaments to finally make a deck that can win a game, it takes some practice, your goblins were fun and would have probably done better in a different matchup
Juzamjedi vs Schrebchen 2-1
Schrebchen vs Juzamjedi 1-2

Round 2:
Bracket AB:
JUZAMJEDI vs SCHERBCHEN
Match1: Player as Juzamjedi
Interesting starting hand, 1 mountain, 1 wasteland, 2 lackeys, matron, siege-gang, warchief and ringleader, so I keep. He gets the play and drops island, pass. Mountain, lackey, pass. Island, pass. Lackey, Aether Vial, bash, put Siege-gang Commander into play. A coiling oracle for him nets him a tropical island, but his board is looking pretty bad at the moment.
Use siege-gang to throw a goblin into coiling oracle, bash for 6 and put in Goblin ringleader and Goblin warchief. He control magics a ringleader. Swing with everything, he blocks Siege-gang commander, but I get out a goblin kind and a matron with lacky (searching for Goblin Chieftain). He swings with the 3/3 ringleader of his, and then I steamroll him with a veritable crapshitton of goblins, big goblins.
1-0
1 Wasteland opening hand, mulligan into 2x mountain, 2x Aether Vial, a warchief and a chieftain. Topdeck a lackey. Wdup. Double drop Aether vials, swing with Lackey, drop in Warchief. He plays a kitchen finks, enough to delay me for now. Gets out Garruk, makes a beast each turn while I topdeck lands.
He suicides garruk into a third beast, then plays natural order. =< More land topdecks leads me to believe I'm in trouble. One more land, sadface =<
1-1
Game3 has an interesting hand, 1 mountain, lackey, 2 ringleaders, chieftain, warchief, and incinerator. I keep. Topdeck lackey #2. Ringleader nets me 2x matron and a King. Aether vial gets the boot to the bottom. No lands still
Balls, Aether vial. I will get a second land soon. He tries to block and trade with a lackey (coiling oracle) so I decide to put in a Chieftain instead of a ringleader. BL2USON. He trades kitchen finks with Chieftain, so I put out Piledriver and Warchief. He casts Spike Weaver and passes. I play a King and then proceed to beat the crap out of him.
He tries to trade kitchen finks with goblin kind and spike weaver with piledriver, so I drop a matron into play tutoring for a chieftain, and drop the chieftain to play. Saving mine. He's pretty screwed atm, on 3 life vs my 20. Matron tutoring Chieftain, Vial in Chieftain. Swing away for the win, dropping in Ringleader and throwing in another king as well. Massive overkill at -48.
2-1
Match2: Player as Scherbchen
Mulligan into t3 Jace 2.0 via a Coiling Oracle dropping an additional island. Brainstorm finds a progenitus and 2x tropical island, naturally progenitus goes back into the library with an island. He has a piledriver, Jace is going to feel the pain. Brainstorm nets me FoW and Garruk for a badly needed beast token. Control magic his Goblin king for a chumpblocker if I need it against the Piledrivers, drop another beast, brainstorm into Brainstorm to get Kitchen Finks in hand. I swing with a beast and he blocks with a piledriver. Untap lands with Garruk after playing Kitchen finks to keep FoW mana up, and bounce his Warchief.
Swing with Progenitus, a beast and kitchen finks, he trades a piledriver with a beast, and a Matron with finks. Naturally progenitus goes unblocked. Jacestorm into a natural order and throw out my progenitus for an untapped one. Bash next turn for the win.
1-0
Lots of plays back and forth, I'm on 24 life vs his 18. He has a Piledriver, a chieftain and just landed a Siege-gang. I have a heirarch, 2x wall of blossoms, a beast, a stolen Chieftain and a kitchen finks. Garruk and Jace 2.0 helping me out. Brainstorm throws both progenitus back into the deck, and snags me natural order for next turn. Sac out Heirarch for the Progenitus and use Garruk to untap 2 to cast Spike weaver, Jacestorm to throw the other progenitus back in the deck and drop an island into play. Bash bash, progenitus steamrolls him.
2-0

JATILL vs TARON
Match1: Player as Jatill
Terrible hand, 0 land, mulligan. Hit up 3-4 land, Overgrown Battlement, Swords and Sky swallower, sounds good so I keep. He gets a t3 progenitus.
I start panicking from progenitus, and then topdeck Natural Order to cancel out his Proggy. He casts Eureka to get another progenitus on the board, the best I do is get my Sky Swallower. This is a race I just can't win, didn't topdeck a Natural order or something to get rid of Progenitus =<.
Life totals @ 0 to 9
0-1
Get out a t3 Sky swallower after topdecking progenitus. Start bashing away and hoping he can't get out progenitus before it won't make a difference.
He plays Eureka to put out progenitus, so I put mine out too. He puts out platinum angel, uh oh.... I put out another Sky Swallower. He puts out another Platinum Angel. And Another Progenitus. I'm in a crapton of trouble.
I'm sorry man, I just couldn't handle that much coming out of a Eureka =<
Life totals @ 0 to 2

Match2: Player as Taron
Opening hand = 5 forest and 2x Fyndhorn Elves, decide to keep. Topdeck another Fyndhorn elves and a forest in the first 2 turns, but I have 3 elves now to throw out to natural order. And guaranteed mana to cast it. He has a wall of blossoms, so I'm kind of safe for now, stuck on 2 lands, casts another Wall of Blossoms. Topdeck another forest. Bash for 1. via 3x Fyndhorn elves. He plays an overgrown battlement. I topdeck ANOTHER forest -.-. He gets natural order off, and progenitus is out. Please god let me topdeck a natural order.
No such luck, topdeck a progenitus. Get bashed once before I topdeck Eureka. I put out my progenitus, but he gets wall of blossoms, wall of omens and a wall of denial. This is ok, I just need time. Swords comes out for 2 of my Fyndhorn elves. Oh crap, natural order again. Oh yay, topdeck Lightning Greaves. Equip them to my last Fyndhorn elves so they can't die. Topdeck progenitus again. Bl2me =<
Life totals @ 0 to 18

Mulligan a hand of a metric ton of lands, progenitus and a platinum angel. Was tempted to keep it
Turn 2 progenitus vs his Wall of roots. Not bad. Balls, he natural orders, board wipe. So I cast an Elvish spirit guide and equip lightning greaves. 20-17 life so far. He gets a wall of denial, so I play a second spirit guide, haste it and start bashing again. Holding Eureka in my hand, slowly winning with 2 damage per turn from the spirit guides. Baw, one got swordsed. No damage now =<
He gets natural order out after playing a wall of roots. Progenitus is back on the board. I have nothing and life is at 22-9. Rotten balls, topdecked lightning greaves. Hoping to topdeck a platinum angel now so I can hardcast it. Naturally I pull another forest and I lose =<

COGNIS vs AWW1979 (Jundinator)
Match1: Player as Cognis
Decent hand, threw out a goyf, bounced it for skyfisher, he edicts skyfisher, play goyf, gets bolted. Play Elspeth by cracking a fetch for Savannah, make a dude, dude gets pulsed. Really stupid move by the AI. Ajani Goldmane comes out now as well. Make another dude, gain 2 life. He bloodbraids into Pulse. Pulses the soldier token again then beats @ elspeth, BBelf gets path'd. Play nacatl, make a dude, gain 2 life, get the nacatl terminated and the soldier pulsed. Nearly out of pulses I think. AI must have gotten a huge removal hand.
I get a BBelf, roll into a recruiter and fetch a Dragonmaster Outcast to my hand. Make a dude, gain 2 life, bash for 3. He nails another BBelf, rolls into Blightning, classic jund now. Damages @ elspeth. Damn no indestructibility for everything, still, Serra Avatar in a second, 25/25. Make another dude, swing, he blocks and kills recruiter, taking 4. Life totals are 25-13. BAWWWW he topdecks a terminate and kills my 25/25 avatar =< Chump his BBelf with a soldier because it was aimed at Elspeth, call up a Tarmogoyf, make a dude, gain 2 life, bash for 4.
Pump a guy targeting goyf, -1 Goldmane (also Cognis, why not Vengeant? tends to work really well in Naya) and bash for the win.
1-0
No land hand, mulligan. 6 hand is slightly off colour, but enough with path to stall till I can get the board. No land topdecks for 2-3 turns, but another path if I need it. He BBelves into thrinax. I get another plains, play kitchen finks. He bit blasts into Goyf and kills finks. Then bolts finks so I can't block his thrinax. Ohnoes
. Path Thrinax leaving a 2/3 goyf on his side of the field, and a kor skyfisher on mine. He post-combat main edicts me, on his turn. Kind of a waste, he could have hit for 2. So I swords his goyf. Windswept Heath nets me a Taiga so I can bbelf finally.
Roll into a Goyf who is now at 3/4 and bash for 3. Goyfy gets terminated. Bbelf gets edicted at my EoT after it already bashed him. Get blightning'd. Recruiter into Goyf, play goyf andpass. Goyf now at 4/5, goyf gets terminated. Tap taiga for green, cast skyfisher with WW, bounce taiga, play it again for green so I can play Witness to get back a BBelf. He broodmate dragons and I'm in a tiny bit of trouble atm. BBelf into path, so I path the broodmate so now he is dealing 4 per turn, I am dealing 8, outracing him seems an option. Life is 9-2, he Pulses BBelf. Blightnings me, 6-2. Dragon swings for 4, 2-2. I manage to swing through for the win.
2-0
Match2: Player as Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww1969
I get a fair hand, and keep. He plays a nacatl, I terminate it. I play a Goyf, he paths it. I play another goyf it sticks for now. I pulse a nacatl, and he double drops 4/5 goyfs owing to a blightning I hit him with earlier. He drops sarkhan vol and I can't stabilise. G1 loss =\
0-1
Bolty hand, I keep with enough mana to topdeck and play just about anything. We play a bit back and forth, the usual removal trades, I trade 2 thrinaxes for bbelves, only thing is I get saprolings, I get a broodmate out, then topdeck bbelf, huge swing to my advantage killing his wall of reverence with a pulse coming off bbelf.
1-1
He gets an early nacatl, I edict. I get out a 3/4 goyf. He gets a wall of reverence in the meantime. I topdeck edict get rid of his wall and start beating him up for 3. He swordses it after a hit. He skyfishers, it gets terminated. He calls up 2 recruiters, I pulse them. He calls witness, it sticks, he calls up Sarkhan Vol, Vol gets pulsed, and witness gets terminated. Leaving a wall of reverence on the board. Next turn I topdeck broodmate dragon and drop it, slowly the game is shifting back to me. Dragon token gets swordsed so I am back to 21 life. He drops a skyfisher, good thing too, makes 2 cards in his hand. I blightning, cards are gone, and bash with broodmate, forgetting the wall has flying =<.
Oh dear, he manages to get to ultimate with sarkhan and cracks his ultimate. Slightly troubling. Praying for a pulse. Edict. Not as good. My broodmate gets swordsed. Very Very bad. Trade my thrinax with Nacatl, I'm on 3 life. CMON PULSE. Balls, got a goyf.

DISCORANSOM vs YGGDRASIL
Match1: Player as Discoransom
Fairly land heavy hand, with vindicate and wallet slayer. I keep. He gets out a figure, I vindicate his plains, he gets a budgie, bolts me. He has early damage, but he's a turn back. He bashes for 4 with Figure. I get out baneslayer. Time to change around the field. He passes his combat, then swordses my baneslayer and drops another figure. Next turn I drop a tombstalker. Tidehollow Sculler comes out and shows me land, I play gerrards verdict and gain some life, nearly back to full. Chump the 6/6 figure with my tidehollow sculler. He pumps the other one. He seems to have too much momentum for me now.
Hopefully get a good topdeck. I chump with tombstalker against his figure hoping to delay it. Topdeck a plains and it's all over.
0-1
All land hand, I scratch it for a hand with a fetch, some lands, vindicate, swords. Good enough, crack the fetch for scrubland. He puts out a turn 1 figure, I swords it. I vindicate his plateau, leaving him with only a Taiga. I topdeck Hymn, play it. I play Shreiking Grotesque, he throws out a thoctar, then swordses my grotesque. A turn passes, neither of us do anything. Then I topdeck baneslayer. He swordses it. I verdict him, he throws out a mountain and Jungle shrine, I gain an extra 6 life, up to 29. He gets out balefire liege, I swords it. He gets a thoctar, I topdeck hymn, cast it and he throws out a plains. Still nothing to get rid of thoctar, so it will start beating me up.
I'm now on a 6 turn clock. He nets a figure and pumps it once. Clock just got smaller, I topdeck sculler and am happy for the chump block. In response he pumps figure again. I topdeck tombstalker, and hardcast it. He's scared and refuses to attack, life totals are now 20-21. Tidehollow sculler topdeck throws out a bolt. He has a huge board position, 2x firewalker, figure, thoctar, and now bloodbraiding into a budgie. Crack a fetch to get the last scrubland, thinning out the deck.
He puts out a ranger of eos, grabbing figure of destiny, puts them both out and ends. I topdeck a plains. Lovely. Tombstalker has him scared, he still doesnt attack. God I wish I had a damnation/wrath etc. I verdict him again, he throws out a fetch, I gain some more life. Totals are now 22-27. He pumps up a figure to 8/8 first strike flying, but does it postcombat. I edict him and he throws out a firewalker. He swings with the figure, but I let it through, owing to the fact the only thing that can block it, is the one thing holding his whole army in line. Swords his 8/8 figure. Lucky. Life totals are 14-35. Seems this game is slipping away, still, a baneslayer could reverse it for the better.
Ohcrap, he topdecks swords, gets rid of tombstalker and swings through with everything. Chump the thoctar, the biggest source of damage. He pumps one of the two figures and deals lethal damage.
0-2 (Sorry man, I tried, he just flooded the board so damn much.)

I tried Ajani Vengenant but I choose Ajani Goldmane since he is overall more useful and they can't both be in the game, I took Elsepth in stead of Venegant.

@taron: Do you have the results for when you played as Yggdrasil in GH?
@shantak: I think what made the difference in the sudden death round was that Ivory Tower and to a lesser degree Eldrazi monument weren't very good in this matchup. Ivory Tower is obviously weak against discard, though occasionally I did get some use out of it. Eldrazi Monument usually seemed to just get discarded, or else there weren't enough creatures out to use it. Also, for the longest time I thought there were 4 monuments in the deck because I was getting them so often :p I was like why does he have four of them, two would make more sense since it's a card more for mid-late game... I look at the decklist, see only two, and think wow, I sure drew that a lot, hehe.
The other thing that could have affected bracket G is that in real life, I played a discard deck as my top deck for a very long time, so I had more experience with that style.

Ivory tower is very specific a card, can be fantastic if you have a deck dedicated to using it, but otherwise, you rarely gain life. Especially when the idea is to flood the board.
And hm, it doesn't seem to be in my match notes, they ended as 2-1 I believe, I will do that match again so we don't get skewed scores when I get home tonight.
@cognis, you may have gotten use out of him, the AI seems very intent on smashing planeswalkers before anything else, having an extra copy or two of an Ajani shouldn't be a problem, early vengeant to keep them out of mana/creatures and then annihilating their lands, or at worst a suiciding lightning helix to whipe out a problem creature. I don't know, in a Naya style deck, I guess Goldmane might be -easier- for the AI to use, but Vengeant seems geared to the later game. I will have a think about legacy naya and what I would rock in there, will let you know. I mean I can definitely see the use of goldmane, especially since I got to use his Ulti, but the avatar just got owned anyway

Bracket AB
juzamjedi as human win 2-1
game 1 early Garruk makes my life miserable. AI hardcasts Woodfall Primus and my Goblin Lackey did nothing.
game 2 my hand has lots of mana disruption (3x Wasteland + Blood Moon). AI only plays basic lands. I get there with a big Piledriver attack and outrace Progenitus.
game 3 AI drops a ton of early men, but never plays Natural Order. AI steals my Goblin Warchief and almost kills me with him. I connect with a big attack and put Siege-Gang Commander into play. I stabilize and keep beating down with Piledriver led attacks and win a very close game!
scherbchen as human win 2-0
game 1 mull 1 land hand into 0 land into 3 land with Wall of Blossoms. AI has T1 lackey, but nothing too dangerous. I get T4 Natural Order for Progenitus and AI has no answer.
game 2 mull 1 land into 1 basic island + Noble Hierarch, mull into 2 land hand that can play T3 Natural Order. AI cannot answer T3 Progenitus on the play and I win easily.
This felt easy from Scherbchen's side and incredibly difficult from my side. I am predicting Scherbchen will beat me here.
Bracket CD
jatill as human win 2-0
game 1 mull 1 land hand into a really slow 4 land hand. I draw into the pieces for T4 Natural Order and win easily.
game 2 finally a good opener again! Keep. It is a really slow game where I kill everything on site and eventually hardcast SSS.
Taron as human lose 0-2
game 1 my opener is OK, but AI gets T3 Progenitus which I cannot answer.
game 2 mulligan for a 6 card hand that has Natural Order. I get T3 Natural Order on the play. I get in 1 swing with Progenitus before AI gets Natural Order to legend rule mine. AI plays another Natural Order 2 turns later and I lose.
This matchup I probably should have mulliganed more aggressively for Natural Order since it was the only card that mattered. I probably could have won Taron's game 2 had I gone for Platinum Angel instead of Progenitus, but it might have been me winning due to slow milling (I had Lightning Greaves in play when I went for Natural Order).
Bracket EF
cognis as human win 2-1
game 1 mull 1 land into a 2 land hand. Early trades. BBE -> Blightning gets both of the Eternal Witness in my hand. I then draw lands and die.
game 2 AI plays BBE first and gets Tarmogoyf. My BBE gets me Kor Skyfisher. I play Sarkhan Vol, but AI kills the blocker I left behind and kills him immediately. A long attrition battle follows which I win. The turning point is when I drop the Dragonmaster Outcast that AI ignores because it is "only a 1/1"
game 3 AI has a very slow start and I get Sarkhan Vol to stick around. I never go ultimate from all the direct damage sent at him, but the haste makes my creatures very potent.
jundinator as human win 2-0
I finish both games before I realize I have taken any notes. Lots of removal on my side and it was pretty surprising at how effective this deck was. I have lots of attrition pieces and win pretty easily both games.
Bracket GH
discoransom as human lose 0-2
game 1 my opening hand looks fine with 2 lands, Hymn to Tourachs and Baneslayers. I never draw the lands I need though. AI slowly beats me down while I end the game with 3 Baneslayers in hand and 4 lands in play.
game 2 4 lands, keep
The AI makes an unusual choice when I Diabolic Edict and AI chooses to lose Woolly Thoctar instead of Birds of Paradise (?). I get 10 mana in play (!) before I draw Baneslayer. At this point she has to chump block the Figure of Destiny that has gone crazy. I can't keep up and lose.
Yggdrasil as human lose 1-2
game 1 Yep - Figure of Destiny is still awesome against the AI. Brutal beatings from me.
game 2 AI gets an early Hymn to Tourach that wrecks me. He doesn't play anything though while I draw lands. Eventually AI gets 5th lands for Baneslayer Angel. Then Baneslayer Angel. Followed up by Baneslayer Angel. And then a Tombstalker. Yep, I lose.
game 3 The AI rapes my hand pretty well this game. I get land flooded and eventually AI draws into Baneslayer Angel. Then Tombstalker. I topdeck Ranger of Eos and get 1x Bird to chump block and 1x Figure of Destiny. AI takes its turn to send my Birds of Paradise farming and kill me with no flying blockers. I lose.
Obviously the AI handled itself well against me with both of these decks

I concede the match against Yggdrasil, so feel free to skip it. His deck is way too resilient for mine. Great build!

Bracket AB:
juzamjedi vs scherbchen AI 2-0 (juzamjedi +2 pts)
scherbchen vs juzamjedi AI 2-0 (scherbchen +2 pts)
juzam:
Game 1: Opening hand has Goblin Lackey and friends. AI is quickly overwhelmed by a goblin horde, and even if it had managed a turn 3 progenitus (it missed a land drop) it wouldn't have been fast enough.
Game 2: Pretty much the same as game 1, except some Wall of Blossoms slow things down a turn or two. The entire match was complete in under 10 minutes.
scherbchen:
Game 1: I keep Noble Hierarch, Wall of Blossoms, Jace, and lands. AI plays turn 1 lackey, I play turn 1 hierarch, and since I have lots of lands, I decide to chump lackey immediately. AI wastelands two tropical islands in a row while beating me with goblins, and I'm starting to get worried. Force of Will counters Goblin Chieftain. I'm left at 9 life facing a horde of goblins, and am quite worried. I start doing some number crunching in my head and begin working out my plays extremely carefully. Playing Natural Order for Progenitus is possible, but because it costs a creature, it is the wrong choice if AI topdecks any creature, as I will die to a mass attack. I end up playing other things, and I never actually cast Natural Order all game; I keep making stall plays while I start beating with stolen mountainwalking goblins, and win that way. This was one of the best games I have played in the entire tournament because it required a lot of careful planning to win, as well as bad topdecks on the AIs part. (jace helped a bit with that
)
Game 2: AI wastelands my tropical island, and I'm a bit miffed, but I topdeck Noble Hierarch, and get an island soon after. I decline to Force of Will a Goblin Chieftain, and am rewarded when next turn Goblin Ringleader is cast; I counter that happily. AI casts another ringleader next turn, revealing 3x mountain and a ringleader, so it wasn't as crucial as I thought to counter. I control magic the chieftain, and the next chieftain that lands, and win with two chiefs and two finks beating AI down. Funny that both games with scherbchen I win mostly with AIs own goblins against him, and never have progenitus out at all :p

Bracket CD:
Jatill vs Taron 2-0 (jatill +2 pts)
Taron vs Jatill 2-0 (taron +2 pts)
jatill:
Game 1: I mulligan a one land hand and keep the six. I get out Wall of Roots and Wall of Omens, and AI gets out an Elf and a Hierarch. I'm fearing Natural Order, but if I path one of those, it doesn't really help since he gets a land back anyway, and I don't have any other removal. (or anything, for that matter) AI plays the dreaded Natural Order, and Progenitus is down. I need natural order, but I draw another path. AI swings for 10, and I'm down to 10. I need to draw Natural Order or I lose. During my upkeep, I Path my own wall of omens, just to thin the deck of a land, which increases the odds of drawing natural order by like 1%, the only card that can save me. I draw... AND ITS NATURAL ORDER! PWND! I bury his Progenitus with the legend rule, and next turn I topdeck a land and hardcast Simic Sky Swallower. Four turns later, it goes the distance and I win!
Game 2: AI plays lots of mana creatures, but has no Natural Order. I play lots of walls, and Natural Order is in opening hand. Progenitus says game, set, match.
taron:
Game 1: I mulligan a hand with a couple land and lots of 1cc mana dudes. It was a judgement call, and I felt that going straight for Natural Order (or Eureka + fat) was the best plan, since otherwise I'm basically in topdeck mode from turn 1, the same way 'cuddles' was. I mull to 6, and get basically the same hand, and figure I'll play it, since going down further carries its own risk. AI plays some walls, and I play an elf and hierarch, and topdeck NO on about turn five, play it, and Progenitus ends it two turns later.
Game 2: This is a carbon copy of Game 1, except that I topdeck NO exactly the turn I can cast it, rather than about two turns later, like in game 1.

DISCORANSOM vs YGGDRASIL
Match2: Player as Yggdrasil
T1 budgie gets sworsed. Gayed. Crack Arid mesa for Taiga to play a t2 Pridemage. He plays a Tidehollow Sculler to steal my bolt, so I Lightning Helix it. Pridemage bashes for 3, then gets booted from the game by another swords. He verdicts me, so I throw out bolt and Balefire liege, being stuck on 2 lands. topdeck budgie, and I'm kind of back in the game. Topdeck Savannah for a Thoctar and I'm ready to steamroll him. He edicts me, so I throw out the budgie. Tombstalker hits the board. Shame I have a swords in hand. I bash with Thoctar, then it gets vindicated on the opponents turn. Figure of destiny makes it to 2/2 on my turn, makes it to 4/4 and bashes next turn. A couple of bashes, it becomes an 8/8 and swings for Lethal.
1-0
G2:
A Tidehollow sculler steals my Balefire Liege, so it gets lightning helixed. I'm wanting vengeance from my t1 budgie getting swordsed. A couple of turns later he swordses another budgie, and tombstalkers, so I swords his tombstalker. I get a thoctar out, who next turn gets vindicated. Kor Firewalker one turn, bbelf the next who rolls into figure of destiny. A couple of Helixes and combats later, I win.
2-0
Props to disco, it was a nice deck idea, just has trouble dealing with stuff once it hits the board.

Bracket EF:
cognis vs aww1979 AI 2-0 (cognis +2 pts)
aww1979 vs cognis AI 2-1 (aww1979 +1 pts)
cognis:
Game 1: The hand I keep is a bit weak, since it has only forest and mountain for land. Once I get a couple land, though, I start winning, since the AI plays a lot of removal but very few creatures this game. A nasty Blightning costs me elspeth and a bloodbraid elf, but since the AI seems to be badly manaflooded, and has run out of removal, I win fairly easily despite the weaker opening hand.
Game 2: I mulligan to 6 due to a one mana hand, and keep 3 creatures/3 lands. I get heaps of card advantage with things like Imperial Recruiter, bounced by Kor Skyfisher, but especially from the three Eternal Witness I get. I think I cast the same Path to Exile four times, lol. AI makes a valiant effort while at 2 life with Broodmate Dragon, which can stop my Kor Skyfisher, but I play a witness for path, exile one of them, and then attack with three 2/x power creatures, and AI can block only two, with the dragon token and a bloodbraid elf.

Game 1: I keep a rather flooded hand, 5 land, Maelstrom Pulse and Blightning. It bites me in the ass, as I get hardly any creatures, and while I do draw some removal, AI draws way more creatures, and I can't stop them all, despite my best efforts.
Game 2: I get a nice hand, and the game plays out rather amusingly. AI plays three early Kor Skyfisher, bouncing a land each time, on turns 2,3, and 4, and I play turn 3 blightning, turn 4 pulse (on two kors; he played the 3rd right after :p) then turn 5 and 6 blightnings. I thought AI had screwed its tempo with the kors, but it turns out AI didn't actually have any other lands all game, so it didn't matter. I win quite easily.
Game 3: Blightnings rip AI's hand to shreds, and I get a sweet army of Sprouting Thrinaxes and Bloodbraid Elves, and they win it. AI missed a land drop turn 2, and then got nothing but lands, and had no hand and nothing in play but land and one creature.
Bracket GH:
I see discoransom conceded this one, but I wanted to play it anyway. I'm not bothering to make a video, though, because of that.
discoransom vs yggdrasil AI 2-1 (discoransom +1 pts)
yggdrasil vs discoransom AI 2-0 (yggdrasil +2 pts)
discoransom:
Game 1: I got a good hand, but AI got a better one. He got Figure of Destiny up to 8/8 on about turn 4 thanks to a couple Birds of Paradise. I spent all game chumping with tombstalkers and grotesques, while sneaking a few hits in with Baneslayer. This kept me alive long enough that AI got a second figure to 8/8, and I got a second baneslayer, double-blocked one figure, killed it, losing a baneslayer, but it still wasn't enough to win. AI had 13 life when I lost.
Game 2: Mulliganed a one mana hand, and didn't really like the next one; 3 mana, grotesque, simulacrum, tombstalker. I'll keep it, though, just because of the land. I turn 2 edict the AIs turn 1 birds of paradise, then he misses his 2nd land drop, so I Vindicate his land
He topdecks 2 more lands, though. Tidehollow Sculler reveals one hell of a hand, (3x BBElf, Balefire Liege, Woolly Thoctar, Lightning Helix) if the AI can get some mana, and I take his helix. AI topdecks a third land in a row and plays the thoctar. Damn, what luck. I draw another sculler, take an elf, while I beat with the grotesque I got on turn 4. AI topdecks a fourth land in a row, I kid you not, plays an elf, cascades plowshares on a sculler, and hits me with thoctar. I topdeck Gerrard's Verdict, and AI keeps one elf, throwing an elf and a liege. Now that AI has topdecked 4 land in a row, it gets Lightning Helix, blows away my other Sculler, and beats with thoctar again. I topdeck another verdict, and AI discards a liege and an elf. I keep Shrieking Grotesque back to deter the elf from attacking me. AI draws a land, beats with thoctar again, and I can finally get out a Tombstalker. I don't attack with grotesque, because if removal hits tombstalker, I'm dead; it doesn't play whatever it drew. I play simulacrum #1, beat with grotesque. AI plays birds, then I play simulacrum #2 and hit with my tombstalker. AI gets another birds, and I get another grotesque; AI discards a land. Tombstalker gets chumped by a birds (was surprised at this, since AI is at 12). AI doesn't play its draw, and I draw Baneslayer. Damn, am I going to win after that horrible start? Tombstalker and 2 grotesque swing, birds chump, AI at 8 with thoctar and elf out, and I have the above plus two simulacrums amd that baneslayer now. AI topdecks land, and I win the game!
Game 3: Ugh, two plains, black cards, and no other land. Mulligan to 6, get 3 land, sculler, verdict, tombstalker. I'll keep that. Turn 1 I play land, AI plays Figure. Turn 2 I play verdict (2x Firewalkers thrown), AI hits for 1, plays birds, and pumps figure postcombat, lol. Sculler comes down, sees liege x2 and lightning bolt; I pick bolt. AI pumps Figure to 4/4 in its end step, so it didn't attack. Turn 4 I play tombstalker (had 3 fetches and verdict already). AI gets out thoctar, so I keep tombstalker for blocking. I topdeck simulacrum, play it, then tombstalker swings. AI topdecks pridemage, immediately sacs it to kill sculler, and attacks with FoD and thoctar. Oops... should've kept tombstalker back. I chump with simulacrum, down to 12 from FoD, and draw Baneslayer off simulacrum's death. Topdeck swamp, play baneslayer, tombstalker swings, AI at 10. AI does nothing, I swing for 10 with tombstalker and angel for the win. Got lucky in that AI had no red mana except for a birds of paradise, which it sacced to my diabolic edict right after it played the thoctar.
yggdrasil:
Game 1: keep savannah, plains, bolt, liege, pridemage, thoctar, firewalker. Turn 2 pridemage eats plowshares. AI plays sculler and topdecks whatever I drew (I forget already, lol) I draw a fetchland, get taiga, and land the thoctar, but AI kills it with an edict postcombat, so I don't take 2 from sculler, haha. I draw jungle shrine, which fortunately didn't hurt my tempo this time; I play my firewalker and bolt the sculler. (I don't get a card back in hand, so I guess he didn't take anything...) AI plays another sculler (takes liege) I topdeck thoctar, attack with firewalker, and AI doesn't block with sculler. Thoctar eats vindicate and I eat 2 damage from sculler. Firewalker swings, and I topdeck plowshares for sculler. AI plays simulacrum. I topdeck ranger of eos for 2 figures, and keep firewalker back. (don't want to trade that with simulacrum) AI plays another simulacrum (thank goodness not baneslayer) and I finally get my 5th land. Balefire Liege #1 comes down. I could trade my now 4/3 ranger with two simulacrums if I attack, but I'm going to play defensively and let lieges do the work from afar. AI topdecks hymn, hits liege #2 and a figure, then plays simulacrum #3. I topdeck birds, play figure, pump it once, and decline to attack into 3 simulacrums. AI plays edict; I sac the birds, hoping I'll draw a 6th land in the next 2 turns for Figure's uberness. Then AI plays tombstalker... doh. I draw the land, FoD becomes 6/6 (liege), and I don't attack. Tombstalker hits for 5, but I'm only down to 21. AI plays another edict; bye bye firewalker. I topdeck bloodbraid elf, but instead make figure into a 10/10 and fly over simulacrums to put AI at 5. I eat another 5 from tombstalker (16) and AI plays grotesque, and I lose the elf in hand. I topdeck another bloodbraid, he cascades a firewalker. I could attack with ranger, liege, elf, and figure; AI can block them all (and indeed must do so) but I only attack with figure, so that AI doesn't draw cards off simulacrums. Grotesque chumps of course. Tombstalker swings, but nothing else happens, and my 10/10 figure goes once more for the win.
Game 2: Turn 1 Figure, turn 2 pump and 2nd figure, attack for 2. AI 17 (fetchland turn 1) Turn 3 AI plays Gerrard's Verdict; my hand is 4 land and firewalker, so AI gets 6 life
My turn 3, pump FoD to 4/4, swing for 5, topdecked plow. (AI 18) AI untaps and plows 4/4 figure on its turn, then plays a grotesque and I discard another land. I topdeck land, figure attacks into grotesque, then pumps to 4/4 in combat. AI scullers my plow, I topdeck taiga, play firewalker, swing for 4 again. (23-14) AI plays Gerrard's Verdict, but I don't give a shit because my hand is empty, lol. I do give a shit at the Vindicate that pwns my figure, though. Topdeck forest, firewalker swings. (sculler didn't block, 23-12) Sculler swings, AI plays simulacrum. I topdeck balefire liege, swing with 3/3 firewalker, 22-9. AI plays simulacrum #2, I draw land and pass. AI plays tombstalker, I get thoctar, and I gain 4 life and deal 3 damage for it, hehe. 26-6. Tombstalker swings, AI topdecks edict, and I sac firewalker. I topdeck lightning helix, point it at the AI, it deals 3 and liege deals the other 3, so I win.

cognis vs aww1979 AI 2-0 (cognis +2 pts)
aww1979 vs cognis AI 2-1 (aww1979 +1 pts)

I'm back now and will start scoring today. One suggestion for the rest of this tournament, and future ones: please update the 1st post of the thread to include the decks download, and the current tournament summary (round 1 results and round 2 brackets). It took me a bit of hunting to find those. Thanks.
Results:
Bracket AB:
JUZAMJEDI vs SCHERBCHEN
JUZAMJEDI (human) vs SCHERBCHEN (AI) 2-0
Game 1: I wastedlanded a tropical Island and played 2 Goblin Warchief. By the time Progenitus saw play, I was attacking with 11 Goblins.
Game 2: I keps an action-light hand that was foiled when my Ringleader was Forced, and my 2 Chieftans were Controlled. I was just about out when I Ringleadered into 4 Goblins, and then drew Blood Moon to Mountainwalk for the win.
SCHERBCHEN (human) vs JUZAMJEDI (AI) 2-0
Game 1: Kitchen Finks held the fort until Progenitus showed up.
Game 2: The same.
Bracket CD:
JATILL vs TARON
Taron (Human) vs jatill (AI) 2-1
Game 1: Mulligan into a hand that casts turn 3 Natural Order for Prog. Win.
Game 2: Mulligan into a turn 3 Prog, but I get blown out when AI plays 2 Sky Swallowers of the Eureka.
Game 3: Keep a hand with Bird, Forest, Natural Order, Platinum Angel, and Lightning Greaves. I kept since it had the potential for turn 3 Order, and the backup lock of Platinum + Greaves. I drew consecutive lands (hurray) but the Bird was Swordsed on the 1st turn (boo). I actually drew land every turn and was able to cast and protect Angel to stay alive, but had no way of dealing damage through Wall of Denial. I awarded Taron the win instead of playing it out, since eventually jatill would deck.
jatill (Human) vs Taron (AI) 0-2
Game 1: Mull into turn 3 Order, but AI has the same. AI draws another Order, while I draw Progenitus. Doh.
Game 2: Keep a hand with no Natural Order, but 3 wall of draw. Again I draw Prog and no NO, so I lose.
Bracket EF:
COGNIS vs AWW1979 (Jundinator)
COGNIS (human) vs AWW1979 (AI) 2-1
Game 1: Mull to 4 due to mana. I thought I might come back until I got Blightninged.
Game 2: A massive card-advantage battle ensues. Very late into the game my Planeswalkers go ultimate and I win. (Fun combo: Wall of Reverenve + Ajani Avatar)
Game 3: Wall of Rev buys enough time for Dragonmaster Outcast to get online and make an army.
AWW1979 (human) vs COGNIS (AI) 2-1
Game 1: I managed my card advantage well, the AI did not.
Game 2: Mull to 5 and AI outdrew me.
Game 3: A very close attrition battle that I barely won
Bracket GH:
DISCORANSOM vs YGGDRASIL
DISCORANSOM (human) vs YGGDRASIL (AI) 2-1
Game 1: BSA was removed the turn before it was lethal, and I had no backup creatures.
Game 2: AI was manascrewed, and I helped with Vindicate
Game 3: A slugfest that BSA was able to win.
YGGDRASIL (human) vs DISCORANSOM (AI) 2-1
Game 1: We traded removal and Figure was teh last man standing.
Game 2: It was a very intersting game in which I ripped 3 Balefires in a Row to stay alive versus 2 BSA, but in the end I made a blunder stat probably cost me the game. Also, if the interaction of Balefire and Bloodbraid worked right, I would have won earlier. Sorry Yggdrasil.
Game 3: I won on turn 3 when the AI was unable to find a single removal spell.

Aww1979 I thought jundinator would kick my ass but as far as I can see we're tied after 5-6 matchups, I thought about jund for the tournament but didn't think it would be competitive enough, I guess I was wrong, looking forward to seeing who will progress to face Yggdrasil, who ever does will have a really tough job since balefire get's tougher with each passing round, best of luck to all those who are still fighting for the semis.
