Thanks everyone.
We got seven new members on July 30 alone, which is quite a lot! And I don't think we ever go one day without getting at least one new registrant. And old members are STILL signing up. I guess some people only come here a few times a year.
At minimum you should come here every week!

Hello to doxaios, who found me over at Demonoid. He will be advertising us in Greece, an awesome country! Where would Americans and Europeans be without our Greek heritage? Still drawing with sticks and mud perhaps...and the women are beautiful there too.

Huggy- We American's would be tyrannical dictators without the Greek... Or at least that would be my hope...
But democracy is awesome too. And it's awesome that we'll have more members from Greece.

Actually we're a representative republic, or we're supposed to be. We get closer to democracy every day though, not a good thing considering the education level of our populace.

In general it's in bad taste to post about another forum. I can understand why you would be flamed at some forums. It's spam.

Perhaps. But posting about CCGHQ on an MTG oriented forum is different I think. I didn't post about something unrelated, like a sex site, or talk about home cooking recipes.
But even more in general, a lot of people on the internet are assholes. We don't flame ANYONE on this forum, "spam" or not. It all comes down to the culture and attitude of each forum, and the example for those are set and enforced by moderators and administrators.
There are lots of little men out there, who talk big and rude when hidden behind the keyboard, but I'll bet they eat shit daily in real life.

For what it is worth: the reason that I joined this site is because you are the hosts for the awesome program incantus. I actually saw the video on another site (believe it was magic vortex). And the only reason that I visited magic vortex was because I had googled for "magic software" or some similar phrase and found a thread with the incantus youtube link.

Thanks for the report.
I remember seeing that video that Incantus had linked on another forum, I think it was MTG Salvation. Man that was exciting. And then he had to pull the video and I thought "oh crap, here we go again, it was too good to last". I'm really happy he decided to come over here and keep it in production.
I'd like for more people to know that Incantus is here, but we're walking a line, so I'm leaving it to word of mouth and those who know how to google to figure it out. OTOH, I'm certainly not discouraging anyone else from spreading the word by any means they choose.

Sometimes, I feel life is unfair. WotC had youtube remove all of my Wagic videos, even those that where only showing pure code and nothing related to their copyright. I would have counter-attacked, but youtube requires you to fill out some complex forms, that was too much of a burden. I don't know where their lawyers put the limit, but I don't see anything in Wagic's videos that was more "copyright infringing" than what you can find in Incantus's videos, or the crapload of MWS videos you can find there.

Maybe they're making a magic game for PSP or are going to and don't want any competition ?
Or Incantus it not so well known, closed sources, doesn't make a threat to WotC (like the card generator) and most likely doesn't hit WotC forums.
