Here's the second part of my "Golden Years" mod for Manalink 2.0.
It's Mirage block time !
As usual, the zip package contains new artworks too, but before playing be sure to install the latest Manalink update, you can find it here : viewtopic.php?f=85&t=4328
If it's the first time you dowload this Mod, no problem, this version contaions also the cards featured in the previous part, but be sure of reading "GY_readme.txt" included in the .zip package before start playing, or you'll risk to mess something.

---- BUGS FIXED ----
* Fixed code for Phyrexian Etchings : now you're able to cast it.

--- KNOWN ISSUES ABOUT NEW CARDS ---
* Phasing works differently from the current ruling. The cards phased out are effectivly removed from the game, will trigger any "comes into play" ability when they return in play and will not retain any auras on them or continous effects (like the one of Brine Hag, for example). However, they will "remember" the number and the type of counters putted on them.
* Some cards requires a special "legacy card" to fully function, so don't be worried if you see that when playing, for example, Abyssal Gatekeeper or Ertai's Familiar.
* Abeyance : only the part regarding "spells" works. Abilities, as now, cannot be countered or made impossible to activate.
* Frenetic Efreet : you won't see any coin, but the effect is still random ;)

Did you think about using Oubliette for phasing? I think they work the same.
Did you put all the Mirage Block cards in their own set for sealed? I wouldn't mind trying a couple sealed decks :)

I can choose an arbitrary number for the set, since it isn't coded ? As now, everything is under Star set.
Also, I have no idee how use the Oubliette code, since it use a "state" that isn't registered in Manalink and I'm not able to use ASM to know the code referred to that.
If you can do it, I'll try.

Me too, but Jatill discovered it's just a matter of setting a variable. However, the "graphic counter" of phases will not go back.

once i get done repairing the xbox 360's i have for a few customers i will be getting back into finding out the key that is 2k limit. i hope that I along with ghost and fools will be able to figure this out but i invite anybody else with knowledge of asm and c to help. we can fix this issue im sure of it..any awesome update by the way.

Awww... so cute :)) Is it possible to add Alabaster Dragon, too? it would be much better than the poor Pearl Dragon in the game.

Is there a way to play sealed deck with the new cards (only) ?
Also wouldn´t it be "easier" to just implement this as a 3rd version instead of renaming the limited version (and related things) ?

@ Saibei : it could be done, but apparently Jatil lost the tools he used when making the "Limited" version, and I really don't know how to do that.
And I don't know how to flag the cards for Sealed.
If someone want to volounteer for this, it will be welcomed.

I didn't lose the tools so much as didn't take notes on the steps required. Never thought we'd need yet another version! I'm sure someone could figure it out again if there was a real need.

wouldnt it be as simple as recreating the primary files deckdll.dll, cardartlib.dll etc and changing the names in the magic.exe for that name lets say limited so that it looks for deckdlllim.dll?

Approximately that simple, yes. You have to update a bunch of dll's with filename changes, including the card art ones.

Hmm lets say you use "Mirage" cards and flag them as the "Beta" expansion , then replace the original beta cards with a different expansion - that should do the trick, right ?(or vice versa)

That is what i would try - not a good solution though.
