Just beat this with my Tinker-bell deck, and actually found it the easiest out of the first 4 challenges so far. The last round is very easy if you have an indestructible creature like Blightsteel Colossus in your deck. All you have to do is wait until you can get 3 mana and a Tinker down in one turn, and Bob's your uncle.
Also the single Voltaic Key and Time Vault proved very useful, saving my life in one round since I was able to Transmute Artifact for one of them when I couldn't have done anything else to save myself.

You are very strange if you thought this one was easier than the previous three challenges :p

Maybe I had a good run, but this took a lot fewer tries and tinkering than the other three did. Tribal Trials has several rounds where a good draw is needed to avoid dying; both Vanguard and Chipping Away have very difficult last rounds, especially the latter where you get the fast white deck every time that will always threaten a kill in two AI turns. I guess I base difficulty on how hard the later levels are, since they add to your frustration level the most when you lose, and Onslaught has a really easy last round once you realize it's just a puzzle that you can solve 100% of the time by waiting for the right combo in your hand.aww1979 wrote:You are very strange if you thought this one was easier than the previous three challenges :p
I'm finding There Can Only Be One to be more annoying than it seems at first glance, actually, due to the difficulty in getting your land right every round.

I thought this was the most retarded of the challenges so far. The second round with the spawnwrithes crashes 9 times out of 10 whenever too many of them get on the screen.

If the Spawnwrithe 's are the problem, you'll get more 'retarded' challenges, coz in most challenges you'll get to beat random selected decks. It is even possible that you have to beat the same deck more than once...

I just beat it with Oath of Druids + Show and Tell + big abusive creatures .dec. 4x Worldly Tutor is vital to ensure you get the right solution to the match at hand. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, just causes several of the challenges (Meddling Mage and Spawnwrite in particular) to just flat-out lose. Show and Tell does a good Oath impression and is necessary for beating the last two (drop an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, and Blightsteel Colossus respectively, using artifact mana). Also, I can't get enough of Sheoldred, the Whispering One, and Massacre Wurm, for sheer lulz. PS, Massacre Wurm is pretty good against the Bitterblossom match.
I was trying a netdeck'd Tendrils storm thing, but it was just too time-consuming, stressful, and inconsistent. I beat the challenge with Oath and Tell in about four tries.

I beat it with an oath-Emrakul with 4 propaganda and 4 The tabernacle.
4 Undiscovered Paradise
4 The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
4 Forbidden Orchard
3 Glimmervoid
2 Vivid Creek
2 Tundra
1 Circle of Protection: Red
1 Balance
4 Enlightened Tutor
3 Swords to Plowshares
4 Propaganda
1 Time Walk
1 Timetwister
1 Show and Tell
1 Ponder
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Brainstorm
1 Underworld Dreams
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
4 Oath of Druids
3 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
1 Sol Ring
1 Mox Emerald
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Opal
3 Mox Diamond
1 Black Lotus
The Tabernacle + Propaganda is a total lock for the AI for all the creature mass production rounds (he tries to keep all his creatures alive and can never pay for propaganda) making all these rounds very easy (careful though, the elf deck uses naturalize, but once locked he won't be able to cast it), you can even feed him sometimes with spirits with Forbidden Orchard to ensure the lock.
Oath round 1 is also a win against every opponents, otherwise you need oath turn 2 + balance or oath turn 2 + timewalk.
Underworld Dreams is there just to speed up the kill against the obliterate round (I kept geting locked the first 2 times I reached it, once when he only had 40 cards left..).
The toughest rounds are the 4 damage/round (you need to get CoP Red fast), the underworld dreams round (if he casts howling mine it can go very fast, and he doesn't use creatures so you need to have a Forbidden Orchard), and the Time Walk round.
Against meddling mages, just remember to use tutors at your upkeep after leting him resolve his meddling mage, since the AI is extra lucid and always names the card you're going to draw .

For fun I went at this with a Hypergenesis approach. You can pretty much always get a random assortment of game ending creatures on the field by turn 2 or 3 and sometimes hasted with Akroma's Memorial.
The last round with Obliterate was kind of funny. I realized I could technically win just by discarding Emrakul, the Aeons Torn over and over and decking the opponent (who has 150 cards). But to speed that up I put 2x Darksteel Citadel s in the deck so you could Show and Tell a Blightsteel Colossus into play. (Totally optional)
Mana base is kinda messy, and the deck is a tad luck-based, but it's really fun.
City of Brass x4
Gemstone Mine x4
Reflecting Pool x2
Darksteel Citadel x2
Irrigation Ditch x4
Sulfur Vent x4
Tinder Farm x2
Ancient Spring x1
Hypergenesis x3
Show and Tell x4
Ardent Plea x4
Shardless Agent x4
Demonic Dread x3
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn x4
Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre x4
Blightsteel Colossus x4
Platinum Emperion x4
Akroma's Memorial x2
