We can't find anyone to properly maintain the first post. I've done it for years but can't right now.BAZ wrote:Great thread~~ if not outdated first post.
I can't find kamigawa cropped flip cards anywhere. (for now I'll use full)
(is this because MWS can't render flip cards or am I missing something?)
CHK set: 307 cards. (crops 297)
BOK set: 165 cards. (crops 160)
SOK set: 165 cards. (crops 160)
I can't remember if the flipped crops work in MWS or not, I haven't used MWS in years. I think they must or we never would have made them in the first place. All the research into that was lost with MWSData.
<edit> See http://magi-soft.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... flip+cards

IOW Planeswlk is more current on this than anyone here.
So the problem seems to be in GH's masterbase. Please try Planeswlk's edited version and let us know how it works. All split and flip cards need card text edited to replace <hr> with // - MWS uses // as a hint to delineate how to render text on such cards on the internal rendering (ie. with cropped pics).

Planeswlk's edited version does NOT fix FLIP render. (I now think it is not supported)Huggybaby wrote:IOW Planeswlk is more current on this than anyone here.So the problem seems to be in GH's masterbase. Using // in the text box for FLIP cards, DO NOT render it correctly. (// shows up in text, same as <hr>)
// is ONLY used for the text box of flip cards. (unless I'm mistaken)
I know split cards render fine for one split. (multi-split is moot as its Unhinged set)
MWS uses // in the text box for split cards, and / in all other data fields.
You know, I would actually play MTGO if it had a 15$ monthly fee for all cards. (NON-tradable of course)
As opposed to 15,000$ for all cards and no monthly fee. (tradable)
Sorry to derail thread, back on topic, hq pics:
Is there Knights vs Dragons HQ out yet? I've only found LQ scans online.

So do we have any compilation of all the sets as of now? Find it kind of redundant that after 65 pages in this thread no one has created a sticky thread with all the active links and sets (+ any compilations of all current sets)

Hell, I'm willing to edit the first post via .txt, and show it to a admin/mod,MrYourMom wrote:So do we have any compilation of all the sets as of now? so they can look it over and update the first post; if they'd like that.
(Is the first post poster still around?)
Perhaps this thread should only have core/starter/expansion/etc. sets.
And the other thread should be just promos/decks/etc.
For a more organized set up (of coarse each of these threads links to each other DUH!).

Believe it or not, I am still here albeit I suffer from real-life-itis now that I have a 4 month old boy. I would definitely be happy to update the initial post and would love to see your efforts on this front. PM me your text if you've already done it, or just PM to share ideas and I can make an active effort to get things up-to-date.

Hey Nyth, good to see you alive and well!
@BAZ: I agree, we should have 3 Threads. Core Sets (Alpha thru M12), Expansion Sets (aka "Real Magic" sets like Ravnica, Arabian Nights and Invasion) and Promo/Other sets (Stuff like Archenemy, Starter Boxes and Unhinged).

Same thing here, mine is 2 months oldNyth wrote:Believe it or not, I am still here albeit I suffer from real-life-itis now that I have a 4 month old boy.

Makes it difficult to keep being active on all these subjects.
Back on topic, I wanted to say that Wagic is now using derivative works based on some of the packs here. Namely, someone started porting the tiny crops to Wagic's naming convention:

CCGHQ MTG M12 (Magic 2012) Released
by Huggybaby » 27 Jul 2011, 21:11
Another year, another core set, and this one came out great, very clear and sharp. Which is good, because you'll be looking at them for hundreds and hundreds of days.
SAMPLES:

CCGHQ MTG M12 (Magic 2012) Tokens 072611.zip (1.32 MB)

No Tips & Tricks are in this set.
Thanks to woogerboy21 for the scans, and extreme for processing.
PS I really wanted to use the term "keepin' it real boyee!", or at least "fo' shizzle", but I just couldn't figure out how to do so and have it make any sense. So, until next time you'll have to slanglessly enjoy the scans while I work out another devious plan to bolster my street cred.
