Card renderer

Postby Goblin Hero » 09 Sep 2011, 17:08

Ok, MA 1.3 has the working card renderer. It's a first beta, so only new frames, only standard cards, text can overlap other elements, artist and number are absent... it's a beta Do not expect much. Here's the examples:

What do you think? How's the quality?

Nice! A couple questions though. How did you get the crops in the images? Also it looks like on my machine the text goes outside the text box on many of the render's. I don't know if that a bug or not... is it? (take a look at Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas for example)

Cut them from the fulls.

I know. I don't control font size.

Font is too crisp all over the place. Mana symbols are positioned too low and don't stand out.

Thanks LoL. I was more interested in were you put the crop's to have them appear in the card rendered image. What folder structure etc. Is it documented anywere?

He means they're just cut from the fulls you have in your picture folders right now. If you remove your fulls, you will see that the crops in the render are gone.

I've tried different anti-aliasing settings - it's the best I can get with pango/cairo.

They should be that low. Open scanned/rendered panes, place them on each other and try to switch between them.
P.S. Just updated MA. Added several missed graphic elements and fixed overlapping fonts. Try it.
