I don't think they should be added to the general LQ downloader because if you already have all the set images its a lot of extra unnecessary downloading (especially for those on slower connections. So My vote is for a separate downloader for those elements.
On a side note: I just thought I'd try catch you before you do any additional formatting to the list I provided. I've already formatted 90% of the token images to follow the same form as 'card-picture-tokens.txt'. So delete the token sections from that list and just format the rest. I'll send you the tokens soon.

Personally for me I would rather one download option that grabs everything but I'm lazy
For those that have slower connections separating them out might be a good idea so people could only get what they really need?

Separate download screen, from home screen. Reading the tokens and game image data from different files will behave differently than how the card pics lists are generated.

@slapshot: I just sent you a PM with the formated token links. Hopefully it won't take 2 days to deliver this time...
On the bright side, I tested all the tokens as I was going so that I could pick out which ones forge uses and which ones are just waiting for it's supporting card to be scripted. Only 27 to go (I posted them here). The other 200+ have had the token names fixed to match what forge wants (where there were discrepencies) so no more black tokens. The only exception is the token created by Devastating Summons. I tried all variations of the token name I could think of but nothing works. So I think someone needs to change it so it looks for "r_x_x_elemental.jpg". I also feel that the centaur tokens created by Hunted Horror should use "g_3_3_centaur_pro_black.jpg" to distinguish them from those created by Centaur Glade.
One other issue I had with the various tests I did is that all tokens with the same NAME will stack on the battlefield. So a 7/1 green elemental will stack with a 3/3 red one. Thanks for fixing that Sloth

Where should the downloaded booster pack images and quest opponent images go? I apologize if you put the answer somewhere, but I can't find it.

Just throwin' it out there - the downlod stuff should have a tab in the home screen. The body of the tab would have the various download-able sections of the project, with an indicator next to the title of how much of that section is on the local machine. When the download starts, a small progress bar would be shown. Grrr so many ideas so little time.
Edit Lode. Downlode, is what I meant.

Found this in the 'Readme' file by Chris: The quest opponent icons jpg picture files go into your /res/pics/icons folder. The quest pet icons jpg picture files go into your /res/pics/icons folder. The quest booster package jpg picture files go into your /res/pics/booster folder. The card token jpg picture files go into your /res/pics/tokens folder.slapshot5 wrote:Where should the downloaded booster pack images and quest opponent images go? I think that the pets actually have 2 images each though. One goes in the /pics/tokens folder (the image used for in-game tokens) and the other goes to /pics/icons (called by the pet shop in quest for upgrades etc). The token list I gave you has the link for the plant pet wall that I created
Edit: Just checked and the version in the icons folder is a few pixels different in size and has '_small' appended to the end.

@slapshot5: I just sent you the final (hopefully) links list which now includes the pets. Because the pets are split between two folders I put them in a separate folder on the hosting site to make them easier to maintain.
How do I apply for commit status? I might as well maintain the links list files (once slapshot has them ready) as I upload new quest icons etc.

There's a tab in your User Control Panel called Usergroups where you can apply to join the Developers - Forge group.
So now you're

Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me

Is it possible that the image for the elemental token created by Devastating Summons isn't showing because there's no entry in AllTokens.txt? I'm guessing there should be something like:
- Code: Select all
Elemental
R
Creature Elemental
X/X

I don't think that file makes any difference. It probably just needs:moomarc wrote:Is it possible that the image for the elemental token created by Devastating Summons isn't showing because there's no entry in AllTokens.txt? I'm guessing there should be something like:

@slapshot: Just in case the PM doesn't go through quickly, the c_x_y_twin token on the server is the correct name for that token. I just missed it while correcting the link list. As I was testing, when I came across broken image links I would adjust the token in my pics folder. Once the file name matched what forge was looking for I would then update my local mirror of the ftp and the hosted images. Then I'd update the links list. So it's possible a few slipped through.
If you come across any more I'll just fix them. I've got commit status now so I'll just maintain the links.

Thanks! That worked perfectly. Committed rev 11352.slapshot5 wrote:I don't think that file makes any difference. Why don't the other tokens seem to use this though? I looked through a few token creating cards and none of them had the TokenImage$ (which is why I didn't know about it in the first place). I want to correct Hunted Horror centaur tokens to use a different image to Centaur Glade so I added TokenImage$ G 3 3 Centaur Pro Black. It works perfectly but before I commit I want to make sure that nothing is wrong with it (seeing as it was already using the vanilla 3/3 centaur token image). I'm just not sure where the current image is called from so I thought I'd check first.
If that is all fine, then I intend to do similar differentiation for some of the other cards (eg: goblin tokens with haste vs. vanilla goblin, and eldrazi spawn tokens that have the image that correlates to the lineage)
