Orion, ask him if there's a way for us to update the SkyMagicEditor, so we could implement the new infos about the CSV we got and, in the future, enable the editing of slots > 1998.

- Current / medium term task: adjusting the code for making Misdirection and such usable
- Long term task: inserting all the good stuff I left out from the "Golden Years" mod

That's awsome news. I'd heard about cheat engine, but haven't tried it yet. I hope I will have some results during the weekend.
I will probably have a few worthwhile questions by then. Say thanks from me also Orion!

gmzombie , I tried the deckbuilder with what you told me and it worked, but couldn't make any extra cards to appear. Also it wouln't load with the 2001 (ID 2000) csv and dat. I have to sort out a few unecessary files also.

Guys, I will wait a day before writing him, just to give time to you all to think about useful questions to make to Harry Pitfal. He is busy, so it is better for him to get questions all at the same time. Let me know.

Darn , I hoped to catch up. I tried cheatengine and found 3 addresses with 1999. I scoped the code around them and found some references to cards.dat in the bytecode.
The whole cards.dat path ( c:/...) was hardcoded there, so We might be able to change that and integrate better the mods we have (GY, NL, etc.).
Also in one of them there were many or all the card names probably, separated by "@" characters. This is used in the deck builder probably, but i' ll have to check that.
The moded deckbuilder that gmzombie posted, will help for this.
Anyway, this tool greatly facilitates searching addresses and values in the exe, but a lot of searching and experimenting is required so don't hold your hopes up yet.
We also need to summon our house asm experts for advice.
One question, does Harry remember the exact value of the tables he modified including dummies?
Modifying the csv2dat that Gargaroz said is right on the spot also.
I Believe I will have a few more questions by end of week, but I will try to gather them in a bunch for Harry.
Maybe we need to move this discussion to Manalink C/ASM Dll.

I've invited him to read this specific forum, so that I may avoid to be an intermediate of your needs. In case he doesn't, I will sent your questions but please try to formulate them in a very precise way.
