Better news: Timecrafting and a bunch of friends from the block will be in the next beta. Oh yeah!Sloth wrote:Good news: Dust of Moments has been introduced in this beta.MystREmo wrote:I've wanted to build a Suspend RW deck based on her, but most of the key cards like Timecrafting and Dust of Moments haven't been introduced to forge yet.

Tombstalker 's Delve ability removes cards from my graveyard, but does not reduce its casting cost. I think colorless mana reduction is working for other cards right?

I kept the ability copying in because the old version did it. I can comment it out and LKI copies of Fungal Reaches won't cause a crash anymore.friarsol wrote:I though we said no to that?Hellfish wrote:Really though, does a LKI copy need full copies of the abilities?
Looking at the crash report it looks like Forge is making an LKI copy when a card is moving from the library to the hand. Is that really necessary? Isn't a true LKI copy only needed when a permanent leaves the battlefield?
So many cards, so little time

Pretty much. I'm trying to think of any other cases where we would need abilities from LKI, since it's generally moving from a "known" zone to some other zone. Which could also be Face up Exile, or the Graveyard. But I'm not sure when LKI would come into play for those. Since they wouldn't really have any "adjusted" information.ArsenalNut wrote:Is that really necessary? Isn't a true LKI copy only needed when a permanent leaves the battlefield?
- LKI Text | Open
- 413.2f If an effect requires information from the game (such as the number of creatures in play), the answer is determined only once, when the effect is applied. If the effect requires information from a specific object, including the source of the ability itself, the effect uses the current information of that object if it hasn’t changed zones; otherwise, the effect uses the last known information the object had before leaving the zone it was expected to be in. There are two exceptions: (1) if an effect deals damage divided among some number of creatures or players, the amount and division were determined as the spell or ability was put into the stack (see rule 402.6), and (2) static abilities can’t use last known information (see rule 412.5). If the ability text states that an object does something, it’s the object as it exists—or as it most recently existed—that does it, not the ability.

.Slumbering Dragon 's ability is not triggered when I have Ghostly Prison on the battlefield. For clarity: I control both the Dragon and the Prison.

When I activate Chandra Nalaar to deal 1 damage to a creature andthe next turn, I try again to activate Chandra, I'm not asked for a value for
and Chandra doesn't lose a loyality counter . There are some other cards affected from this bug, for example Cabal Interrogator.

If you select a player and then cancel to not chose a card the player still gets to draw a card when Vendilion Clique comes into play. You should be able to look at their hand and not chose anything and they don't get to draw.

I don't think so. We don't have a script method for choosing a counter, so I was thinking of looking into it when a 3 week contract came up that's going to leave me very little time to do anything in Forge. So unless another dev decides to look into it, no Clockspinning this time.Iran wrote:Will Clockspinning be in the next beta too?
