So I extracted the forge archive into a new folder, ran forge.exe and noticed that the only improvement is that the duels view now shows the Bazaar button, life total and line above the deck. But the icons and menu items at the bottom are still missing. In the Challenges view, I now see the icons as well as the Bazaar button, life total and line above the deck. Is there supposed to be a menu at the bottom of the Challenges view?

Uh, that image is from last night. Now, in the old installation, the credits icon is gone too (on the Duels view only).

What more information do you need to track this issue down?

By the way, what's the life total for? I start out with 20 life in all my quest duels. Also, what's fantasy mode?
I think you solved your issue. You started a "Normal" Quest not a "Fantasy" Quest. In a Fantasy Quest, you start with 15 life (can buy more) and have access to the bazaar where you can buy other stuff to help you on the way (Like plants and pets). These aren't available in "Normal" Quest. If you'd like all that stuff you seem to be missing, you have to start a new Fantasy quest.

Indeed, you are correct. Thanks :) I've compared the two and it's Fantasy quest that I want. :P Would be nice to have a user guide. Is there one?

There's still an issue with a missing "coins" icon beside Credits, on both the Duels view and the Challenges view, in both normal and fantasy quest modes. It keeps coming and disappearing the next time I visit that view. :?

Crash report regarding Cryptoplasm again. Perhaps it's already been solved.

My opponent's Violet Pall targeted Cryptoplasm (which was copying Dewdrop Spy at the time) and the game crashed.

Yes, this has been solved. There is a new beta posted with this fix included.
