High Quality Pictures

On June 2005 community from former MWSData.com has started "HQ Scans Project". We scan and process MTG cards with the best possible quality. Pictures are quite big, but it's the best MTG pictures you can find in the internet. We are working and we plan to scan all MTG cards ever printed. How to get the pictures...

Programs with AI or Rules Enforcement

Forge

Forge is a rules engine where you can play against a simple AI player. Forge's strengths are Card Coverage with over 92% of all Distinct Magic Cards and Quest Mode, where you begin with a small starting pool and play against designed opponents of increasing strength while gaining new cards to improve your deck. Forge supports multiple AI opponents, Draft, Sealed, Archenemy, Planechase,Vanguard and Ante.

BotArena

BotArena is a MTG application which allows you to play MTG with your computer or another player over the net (TCP-IP protocol). The focus of the project is the single player/AI aspect of the game (AI has a very good performance and works using Minmax Alpha-Beta prunnig). Currently the project supports over 10600 magic cards and it continues growing. Also BA supports different formats as Sealed Deck, Vanguard, Archenemy, Planechase and Commander.

Duels of the Planeswalkers

Duels of the Planeswalkers (DotP) is a series of official Magic: The Gathering games released by Wizards of the Coast. Many user created mods have extended the decks and cards available in these games even introducing some mechanics that the engine was not designed to handle through use of various tricks and workarounds.

Duels of the Planeswalkers (2010) is the first game of the series and was released for Windows in 2010. It does not officially have the year in the name and was technically first released in 2009 for the Xbox 360, but it is generally referred to as Duels of the Planeswalkers 2010 or DotP 2010 for short.

Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 is the second game of the series and introduced a new game type Archenemy as well as new mechanics to the engine.

Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is the third game of the series and introduced another game type, Planechase, as well as new mechanics to the engine, but removed the Archenemy game type.
