Advanced Controls
In this chapter, I will present you some Advanced Mechanics that make using OPT even more confortable. I will present them with some examples of the Trading Card Game "Magic: The Gathering".
Planeswalker
Planeswalker permanents automatically enter the battlefield with the correct amount of loaylty counters.
You can remove counters simply by dragging them from the card (left-click). You can add counters with the counter bar at the right bottom.
Morph
You can play cards Face Down by right clicking the card and choosing Play - Face Down.
Suspend
You can play a suspended permanent by right clicking the card and choosing Suspend for X - To Play. Then enter the correct amount of time counters to put on the permanent. It is then put into play with the correct amount.
Cascade
For mechanics as Cascace, where you don't know how many cards you have to reveal, OPT offers a simple solution. Right click your library and click on Reveal (not on "Top ..) Every time you do that, 1 card is revealed from the top of your library (same is true for "Look At"). You can move all cards revealed that way to a zone of your choice by rightclicking and choosing "Entire Zone" and the zone to put the cards in (in case of Cascade, Bottom of Library).
Stack
When playing against a counter-heavy deck, OPT gives you the possibility to enable the Stack for spells you play. After you put the spell on the stack and passed priority, the other play is then free to target the spell on the stack with a Counter or also pass priority to automatically let the spell resolve. (This system is far superior to the one in MWS)
