Pals, a question that is a bit off-topic but still related to our updates...
What is the filesize of your global MtG folder? My one is 1.2 GB (1.309.439.835 byte; space on disk 1,41 GB = 1.518.305.280 byte)
I'm asking that because I don't understand what is making the folder so big. I'm sure that there is plenty of junk from previous updates and stuff... but I would like to run MtG from my Dropbox in order to have it always up to date in all of my 3 PCs, so saving space would be very important!

Without checking I would say CardArtManalink folder is supposed the biggest.
If you don't play Shandalar you can always remove/backup CardArtShandalar but it's a measly 33 Mo folder for me while CAM is around 320 Mo
If you have PDA installed in your Magic root folder logs files can raise quickly if you use it often, I am already at 150 Mo of logs but it's because I convert a lot of NetDeck and do a lot of deck check (and I need to keep the logs to track the decks history).
If you have some mods installed, maybe look for additional land or avatar images but I don't think they "weight" much
Anyway, best way to check HD space issue is to use the great and free HDgraph, software that precisely calculate what contains your HD or folder in a nice colored graph
The Ciroth clean version available on 4shared is 320 Mo and the Card image free is only 90 Mo so maybe you can compare with your own folder.

The last information is the most interesting, imho.
Where may I find it, please?

...if you're referring to the MtG folder on 4shared, just check my signature.

It has really been helpful.
I have removed a lot of files, halving the folder's size. Still, it looks like I have removed a lot of stuff from Shandlar! But I have noticed only now that I can't play it from its original position in "World" (black mana icon), since there are still the links to the very obsolete Limited and Custom versions.
If I would, is there any patch for playing Shandlar, that I can have missed?
Thanks
PS: if you want to see what I have removed, it is in the following archive on my DropBox (may take some time to upload!)

Well there is the standalone Shandalar 2012 version, which is the opposite of ML3 (everything stripped but to play Shandalar with new graphics), it should be in the Shandalar section forum.

Found it! Yes, I have totally missed it!
Mok's return has really been a great boon, even if I can't understand why I had messed up the files for player's info and scores. Mah! Can't even guess.
Anyway, thanks! And hope that sharing these infos here will be of use for others like me.

By the way...when you say you can play from your Dropbox, does that mean you can streaming play ML3 from a webserver ?

Hm... no, I don't think so. I just have moved the game inside my DropBox in my PC, since it can be run without any installation in the registry, and play it from the folder that gets synchronized by Dropbox.
So, now I'm editing decks and updating the game from my notebook: when I'll come back home, I shall be able to play it from my desktop esactly as I have left it on my notebook!

I'm glad there are standard release patches instead of 2 to 3 year waits for a complete overhaul
