How to know what format cards are

I am doing the challenges at the moment for fun, but I often add cards that make the challenge instantly fail because I guess they are restricted in Legacy or whatever. Is there a way for me to see which cards are allowed without looking each card up online?

As most modes Manalink3.0 wiki or if not there maybe even manalink2.0 wiki has the info that should help unless the challenge is bugged at least one or two of them are.

I was hoping there would be a button I could press to show/hide banned cards but I think I am getting a feel for it now anyway.
