Here's the Magic Librarities note about the UK rats deck. Unfortunately these cards seem to be very rare if they exist at all. We may never get these scans.

If no one else has volunteered I have the Venser vs Koth deck and could scan it. However I thought speciality sets like these someone scans them in multiple languages? Or am I wrong about that?

Mahamoti started the Promo and box set cards thread. The English sets are there, but our foreign scans are spotty in this area. I started the 'Foreign Promo and Box Set Cards' thread, however I haven't yet added the Foreign box sets that we have so far (I do plan to). I'm not sure who was doing the foreign scans previously, but perhaps we should search the forum and PM them?

Lastly, please note my request for VVK:

I can make the Symbols for Venser vs. Koth, however the symbols posted by Wizards are very low quality. If someone will scan @1200 DPI the set symbol as printed on the cards I would better be able to see how it was made. The VVK box itself has a high-res print of the (modified) symbol too, a flat scan of this would also be useful.

PresetM is on a Magic hiatus, and we understand. So we can only count on you now. I'm not scanning simply because I don't have the cards (or the money to get them). I don't really play Magic.

Why? I don't have an LED scanner.
I'll see if I can get them scanned in sometime this weekend. I plan on pickinig up a couple boxes of AVR as well today so I may get those scanned in as well.

This set is mostly reprints, except for the two emblem cards and some with alternate artwork. That's what I read anyway.

If we seem a little late with sets, it's only because we can't release them without someone doing the scans first. If you have something unreleased and want to help speed things up, all you need are some good cards and a good scanner, and you can see the link in extreme's sig for how to proceed.

The person stepping into the breech this month is woogerboy21, but anyone may contribute. When we started the project it wasn't unusual to have scans from two or three people per set, and maybe more, I can't remember. But there's a warm place in my heart for everyone who has taken the time over the years to contribute their scans, and there always will be. The HQ Pics Project certainly would not be possible without all of them.

One more thing. The early discussion of this set was started by our Promos/Tokens Master Mahamoti at viewtopic.php?p=75830#p75830. The few number of times he's been thanked is criminal. I don't want ANY of our contributors to toil in obscurity. It takes a lot of damn work to keep on top of the things he does, so when you get a chance, head on over to his Promo and Box Set Cards topic and give him a thumbs up. (BTW, Mahamoti thanked me for this post even before he knew I was editing this post to mention him! Now that's a good egg! )

I didn't care much for the thanks system when Goblin Hero first introduced it, having been burned by systems elsewhere that also allowed a thumbs down. But this isn't one of those. It serves a useful purpose, IF YOU USE IT.
