After so many hours of testing/playing VXP's awesome DLC, I feel obliged to share my experience.
I have never played paper MAGIC. I have been playing DOTP only since 2014. I quit DOTP2015. I am German (not that it matters).
Half of the VXP decks are "AI ready", i.e. AI is up to par with the human player. It is a known fact, that AI does not know how to play nonbasic lands. And sometimes it even refuses to play basic lands. I've witnessed this (my AI partner) in 2HG. And most of all, AI usually does not have a clue how to vote. Don't get me wrong. I know it's not your fault.
I am very fond of 2HG. It is a multiplayer format. Conspiracy is also a multiplayer "format". Therefore it is a great pity that the conspiracy decks are NOT "AI ready" and therefore not suitable for 2HG. Imagine a 2HG match featuring The Black Rose and Will of the Council vs. Selvala's Charge and G/W Tokens. Unfortunately not possible!
I have not played every deck in the mod since there are so many of them. In general, they are quite balanced and offer interesting themes.
I really love to play all the new mechanics like [Heroics, Strive, Constellation, Dethrone, Will of the Council, Parley]. And I like Planeswalkers. It is an experience I would not want to miss.
In 2HG, my favorite tag team so far is Call of the Bard/Angelic Chorus. Great synergy. Landfall/lifegain on both sides and the Archangel of Thune are an almost invincible combination. Take a look.
To cut a long story short, I highly recommend this mod.

Will fix the pretender, but have a couple questions on Keranos.drleg3nd wrote:bug report: keranos devotion does not work, he comes in as a creature regardless of devotion.
mercurial pretender allows me to copy opponent creature when he is supposed to only copy my won creatures.
keranos does not draw a card when I draw a land, but it ask to deal 3 dmg to player or creature without doing anything
I've had zero issues with the dual devotion function I've been using, and no one else has reported this issue.
Edit: Actually quick research shows I'm wrong here, should know better than to shout out answers when I'm tired.

Now, I'm not sure why it's not drawing the card. I had zero issues with this myself, and I beat the heck out of Keranos pretty extensively. Maybe Kithkin can chime in here and see if he's had any issues.

About the target priority you can avoid it splitting the trigger into 2 triggers : 1 Trigger (DRAW) + 1 DelayedTrigger (When the card drawn is not a land) : as the follow :volrathxp wrote:Keranos *will* ask you to target, no matter what you draw. By looking at this topic, it seems that the best way to code Keranos would be to make the reveal an internal (replacement_effect) trigger, which then makes a non-internal delayed trigger for the draw or a non-internal delayed trigger for the damage, according to the revealed card types.NeoAnderson wrote:Doing in this way you don't have to target also when is not needed.

Keranos, God of Storms does, what he is supposed to do, even more.
- Without enough devotion, he is an enchantment.
- With seven or more devotion, he becomes a creature.
- If he draws a land card on his first draw, the land card goes into his hand and he draws an additional card. In addition to that, the player is asked to choose target creature/player for 3 damage. But, the damage is NOT being dealt.
- If he draws a nonland card on his first draw, the nonland card goes into his hand and the player is asked to choose target creature/player and damage is being dealt accordingly.
For the player it is a bit hard/fast to see which card was drawn. Maybe a "reveal step" can be included into the process.
While testing against the Defenders deck, I found another issue.

Guardian Zendikon -- The enchanted land does NOT become a defender, instead Guardian Zendikon does. The enchanted land, now a 2/6 creature, attacked me.

After the 8/31 update, Akroan Crusader still does not produce a soldier token.

Uploaded new cored wad, w/ fixed Akroan Crusader, Guardian Zendikon, and Keranos (Keranos I tested myself and he now works as intended).

I did not get a chance to respond to this yet, but thank you very much for the glowing recommendation. I'm pleased to see people enjoying my work, and not only that, but I enjoy seeing that people like the decks. I play a lot of paper magic, mostly EDH, so I try my best to build on 60 cards which I don't do often, but it's mostly turned out okay.Kithkin wrote:After so many hours of testing/playing VXP's awesome DLC, I feel obliged to share my experience.
I have never played paper MAGIC. I have been playing DOTP only since 2014. I quit DOTP2015. I am German (not that it matters).
Half of the VXP decks are "AI ready", i.e. AI is up to par with the human player. It is a known fact, that AI does not know how to play nonbasic lands. And sometimes it even refuses to play basic lands. I've witnessed this (my AI partner) in 2HG. And most of all, AI usually does not have a clue how to vote. Don't get me wrong. I know it's not your fault.
I am very fond of 2HG. It is a multiplayer format. Conspiracy is also a multiplayer "format". Therefore it is a great pity that the conspiracy decks are NOT "AI ready" and therefore not suitable for 2HG. Imagine a 2HG match featuring The Black Rose and Will of the Council vs. Selvala's Charge and G/W Tokens. Unfortunately not possible!
I have not played every deck in the mod since there are so many of them. In general, they are quite balanced and offer interesting themes.
I really love to play all the new mechanics like [Heroics, Strive, Constellation, Dethrone, Will of the Council, Parley]. And I like Planeswalkers. It is an experience I would not want to miss.
In 2HG, my favorite tag team so far is Call of the Bard/Angelic Chorus. Great synergy. Landfall/lifegain on both sides and the Archangel of Thune are an almost invincible combination. Take a look.2HG.jpg

Has Mirari's Wake been tested? Its mana doubling ability doesn't seem to work for me. I'm using RSN's mana functions, and tapping the lands manually.

phenax devotion is also buggy..i would suggest checking out all gods in your mod to make sure they good to go

Ii'm honestly not sure why you are having these issues. I'm using suomoles dual devotion function and it works in his mod just fine. I included the relevant function files for it with my mod as well.
