Re: Emrakul also has colorless protection
by Gargaroz » 05 Jan 2013, 02:20
Well, Emrakul ability is not easily to implement in Manalink, so it has Shroud instead. I don't think this could be improved too soon..

[Gargaroz fixed 1st bug-unsolvable,change target]Torchling
by ozks » 16 Jan 2013, 04:53
Describe the Bug:
the effects (gets +1/-1 or -1/+1) need to be pay it with red mana (and its colorless mana)
and the effect to redirect target of a spell that target Torhling doesn't work
Which card did behave improperly ?
Torchling
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Time Spiral v1
Solo Duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
pay colorless mana for the abilitys +- -+ and redirect spell who target Torchling
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Fixed the mana part. The "change target" part could not be coded in Manalink, sorry.

[unfixable]Shizo land + Horobi
by Zeek » 16 Jan 2013, 19:52
Describe the Bug:
The AI was playing monoblack control and put out Horobi, Death's Wail and Shizo, Death's Storehouse. While this would be a legitimate combo to remove any legendary creatures of mine one at a time, all three of my non-legendary creatures were killed on the spot.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Horobi triggered and caused my creatures to die, despite that Shizo isn't legitimately able to target any of them. In fact, Shizo never tapped because the targets were illegal, but the cost was paid and Horobi sent the creatures to the graveyard.
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Regular Duel, most current patch.
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Horobi should not kill something if a target isn't legal. Normally, if a player tries to announce an illegal target, it would never reach the stack and look for triggered abilities.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Possibly.
Screenshot link- http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d103/ ... iShizo.png
(doesn't really show the three creatures in my graveyard, but they are in it)

It might be an approximation because when trying to target a non legend creature the mana spent to activate Shizo, Death's Storehouse is rejected into the mana pool, but it worked as if there was a target.

[unfixable]Laboratory Maniac
by mox » 20 Jan 2013, 04:07
Describe the Bug:
Winning with Laboratory Maniac generates an odd winning screen (Fig. 1) and no increase in opponent's number count (Fig. 2 & 3) in challenge mode. The next opponent is always declared as 'your first opponent in the gauntlet', even if it is a new opponent with a new deck.
Chances are that one never gets to the last duel in the challenge (I could not verify it as at the beginning of round 9 the program also crashed).
Which card did behave improperly ?
Laboratory Maniac
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Time Spiral V1, Gauntlet in Challenge mode, challenge The Perfect Storm.
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Winning shoud open the usual winning screen (that with the funny losing sentence by AI), followed by the next opponent in the challenge.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
I feel now suspect all the cards that make one win independently from life count: Barren Glory, Battle of Wits, Coalition Victory, Darksteel Reactor, Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance.
Fig. 1 - The odd winning screen (note the missing sentence from AI and missing 'OK' text on the button):
Fig. 2 - 2nd opponent still declared as 'your first opponent in the gauntlet':
Fig. 3 - 3rd opponent still declared as 'your first opponent in the gauntlet':

Both are hardcoded problems, as now they're unfixable.

Thanks to both stassy and Gargaroz.
By the way, both problems also happen in V2 -- as expected as hardcoded.
Grazie e ciao, Gargaroz!

Gargaroz, what about using Sormtide Leviathan 's code to improve that card? It looks like that it really turns each land into an Island, even if it is not flawless! Creatures as Sea Serpent die if there are not true Island cards into play but creatures with islandwalk are unblockable on the other side.

Member kubiac470 found that the challenge can go to the last round even if the opponent's count does not seem to increase. And also that crash on round 9 is not a rule. I can confirm both these findings. Both kubiac470 and I just won the challenge 3-9 with a Laboratory Maniac - based deck.
So, in the end this bug is just about the look, it does not really affect the play or the game.
Just for the sake of everyone's knowledge.
