Linux Mint + Wine = nothing works

Managed to download the whole Program + Card Art as specified here slightlymagic forum viewtopic.php?f=85&t=29422

Running Linux Mint + Wine windows emulator. Unfortunately.

Anyway the only .exe I can run is magic.exe. Others either don't run or give me errors.

Duel:
Very glitchy, with all cards in my hand flickering in the beginning. My turn. Can't do anything. Nothing happens if I click on the icons on the left or the cards in my hand.

Draft:
I cherrypick my cards one by one.
When it's finally time to play..
"you won. you want another match?". What???
If I say yes, the draft starts AGAIN without actual match.

Anything I can do to make this work?

Been playing this game since 1998.

I don't know anything about linux which is your main issue. Guys anyone with linux to help here?
About draft and if you get linux to work with manalink3.0 under the emulator the process is not automated unfortunately. Wiki has this and a lot more info about other modes like challenges:

Edit: I have searched a little in the forums and all people had issue with wine to make it run. They used a virtual box to run windows. One of them says:
The only successful solution was to run XP in Virtual Box.
You may want to check these links in the link:

I am trying Virtual Box.. seems much more complicated to use than Wine.
"failed to open a session for the virtual machine windows 7 64-bit"
[under details]
"VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED)."
What does that even mean.

Damn I hate linux, nothing ever works, always complications like this.
