Custom Art in forge

Postby Darien Blaque » 13 Nov 2012, 18:54

Is there any way to utilize custom art in forge? basically what i would like to do is create a custom set, that would only have new art for existing cards. The question is, how would i get forge to recognize this new set and default to it for the art? Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Edit.
I actually want to replace the full card, not just the art. I want to update the images with modern frames and updated rules text. I will be creating the images myself. Again any direction on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so with fiddling around, I was able to replace the existing cards with what I want to use. However the image is only utilized by forge for single word cards. Cards with more than one word in their name don't seem to be recognized by the program. Even though I utilized underscores, just as Forge does, it still doesn't want to recognize them. For example, for the card Grim Monolith, the default image utilized is named "grim_monolith.jpg". I replaced it with the full card image that I created. It was in jpg format. The file had the identical name of "grim_monolith.jpg". However Forge did not seem to want to recognize that image. It acted as though there was no image associated with the card. But like I said, this doesn't happen, for example with the card Fabricate. It is only with cards that have multiple words in their name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Sorry if the information I am asking for is so basic that no one wants to bother explaining the problem to me. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to programming.

Could you zip your "grim_monolith.jpg" jpg file and attach it to a message? This would allow us to take a closer look at the jpg file that is causing this problem.

Actually I am just a moron. Didn't I say I was a novice? lol. But anyways, I just needed to restart Forge for it to load the new images. Not sure why it loaded single word images, but not those with more than one word. Either way, it works perfectly now, so I am not gonna question it. Sorry for wasting your guys' time with my idiocy. I really do appreciate the help though.
