About the "AI" tag:
Some tutors have this tag marked, while others do not. In particular, Demonic Tutor has it marked, while Diabolic Tutor (Which is identical except for the mana cost) does not. This is silly, either the AI knows how to play these tutors or it does not, and so the relevant tags should be added/removed.

Here are some "not very smart AI plays" reports:
The AI cast a spell with 2 life when I had Spellshock out
The AI does not pump Frozen Shade to deal damage to me, like, ever - I mean, even if I have nothing on my side of the table and the AI has a Frozen Shade and 5 untapped swamps, it won't attack me to deal 5 damage.

The AI drafts Taunting Elf (even multiple times per deck), but then treats it like a plain 0/1 creature, ignoring its ability. He even put a Chime of Night on one, and I was like "oh, crap" but then he never attacked or blocked with it (I gave him plenty of opportunities to do either) until he had to block because he was at very low life (so, same as he would've for any creature).
The AI used Otherworldly Journey during my turn on one of my creatures (which had summoning sickness even).

AI plays Despise and makes me discard my only creature in hand, then plays Ostracism even if I had no creature left (rather hard to make the AI remember I had no creature I suppose)
Regarding tutors that put on top of library, AI sometimes use them as soon as it can even if they are mana screwed (thus remaining with only one or two lands in play and removing their chance to draw another one the next turn)

When AI must choose to sacrifice some permanents it always choose non-land permanent first even when I'm at low life and it could have killed me next turn...Instead he sacrificed his creatures to save some lands and I finished him at 1 life!

I know Mortarpod already is listed as "SVar:RemAIDeck:True" but since it appears in the AI Quest Caw Blade deck I wanted to quickly comment on it (either to get it replaced in that deck, or hopefully slightly improved). It seems that the the AI over uses the abilities sacrificing creatures equipped with swords. At the very least, the AI probably shouldn't be Mortaring straight to the player, unless they can kill the player. And if they are going to target a creature, they should probably compare the Equipped Creatures value to the targeted creatures value.

Fixed! Thanks krevett (and the 100 others who requested this).krevett wrote:AI tries to Wasteland my fetchlands...It should be set to target mana producing lands and manlands and perhaps enemy wastelands if they're tapped out!
Fixed! Thanks gos.gos wrote:I controlled the AI's Kjeldoran Royal Guard through Control Magic. He had enchanted it with a Blessing earlier. Every time the Guard was about to deal combat damage, the AI spent all of its available white mana to activate the Blessing.
Diabolic Tutor now also has the the AI tag. Thanks Doomlord.Doomlord wrote:About the "AI" tag:

I have 2 Gravecrawler attacking AI, AI casts Izzet Staticaster. AI didn't use the ability to ping both my Gravecrawler but instead use it to block one of them.

I think creatures with activatable "prevent all damage to and by this creature" effects (like Urborg Phantom) need to have logic added so that they only activate this effect when they are blocked, blocking, or the target of a spell. The AI keeps activating it constantly atm :/

It seems that AI also targets fetchlands with other cards (I had the case with Spreading Seas, but I suspect this is also the case with other cards such as Stone Rain etc..)Sloth wrote:Fixed! AI didn't mulligan with a hand of only 2 lairs. It didn't try playing either one, but it also didn't do anything on it's first few turns.

AI always plays Waiting in the Weeds as soon as soon as it has the mana for it, causing it to tap out, and never actually gets the tokens.

I think AI should handle Detention Sphere better, both when using it and when using removal on it.
Example 1: AI cast a Detention Sphere, failed to exile my two Rakdos Keyrunes and targeted my only creature, Thragtusk, instead, which he also happened to have one.
Example 2: I used two spheres to completely remove AI's Thragtusk. AI used Abrupt Decay targeting the one which exiled the beast token.

AI pumps Sabertooth Alley Cat as many times as it can each turn. Once is enough.
AI attacks with a creature that would kill itself by being enchanted with my Pariah. It should feel free to defend or attack a Planeswalker with it though.
