Chat?

Postby EmeraldTiger » 09 Feb 2013, 04:45

Do you guys have a chat? If not I know of way you guys can share code more easily and chat. The way is the online Document share boards. One of these can be created on Sync or Piratepad. I have used both. You will need to use a search for those because I can't provide the URLs.

Both of those use the same system(I'm assuming you mean sync.in), which doesn't work at all on android. Just mentioning this because I can't afford to fix up my computer for a couple of months at least, so I'll be 90% on my phone instead. :/
So now you're
Screaming for the blood of the cookie monster
Evil puppet demon of obesity
Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me

I'm not against using a Chat room, but what's wrong with a traditional IRC chat?

Some of us do not use Windows and use Mac OS instead and I guess that we would also be left out.

I think that Forge has been successful in large part because of the Forge forums here at CCGH.

We've been living without a chat for a couple of years, why would anyone need it now?

That makes me wonder if there is any sites like those, that can be used on android phones. Yes they are basically the same thing and there are several other of those type of sites out there. If needed I can do a search on it.

IRC is all well and good, and that could be for general discussion. The sites I am suggesting will allow for those involved with Forge development to share code live, and it will be saved for all that have the url to look at.

Well I thought people like to have live discussions.

Most discussions would be about general questions. If you need to share code, you can just post a link to http://pastebin.com/ with your code questions
