these are quite good, but I think a little too reddish. I might be wrong, that's just by looking at them.

I think you are right. I compared to AVR HQ. All the non-red cards are pretty OK, but red ones are much too flashy. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for your reply.

It helps to compare directly to the wizards' official images: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Searc ... .aspx?set=[%22Duel%20Decks:%20Sorin%20vs.%20Tibalt%22]. You don't want to be adjusting each card individually, you want to adjust scanned set as a whole, approximating the official colors within reason.

Yes, but I have not scanned all the set yet. Just a small number of cards to see if I can obtain acceptable quality from skibulk's tutorial and provide you help in the scanning process.
I can send you the whole set at 600 dpi if you want to proceed the treatment.
However, the two foil planeswalkers of the set are not very easy to be scanned properly.

yes, the foils have to be scanned by a non-led scanner unfortunately, but if all the rest is good, it's no problem to find those somewhere else.. CAn you also show me one 600dpi card please ?

I would be interested in seeing your results using there guide to the "untreated" scan you posted. The only reason I say this is I edit pictures using Gimp (rather than photoshop) and would like to compare the results.
