Absolute colour filtering within the deck editor would be a great and long overdue feature--if I choose red, blue, and multi as colour options with no other colour, why am I still seeing the other three in my results? There should be an easier way to filter it out so that I can just see red, blue, and multi U/R cards without having to see any other combination. Or is this already possible?

I've often wondered at this myself. Looking at the code, it seems that it was deliberately done this way. Does anyone know the reason?saturnine wrote:Absolute colour filtering within the deck editor would be a great and long overdue feature

It used to be explicit, but it filtered out hybrid cards whereas you want it to show all cards castable with mana of those colours (and I suspect it would do the same with split cards). It was discussed to some degree on the forums here but I can't remember how many people offered opinions.myk wrote:I've often wondered at this myself. Ah hell I just realised I posted this in the wrong thread. Maybe some way to toggle the current implementation and my proposed one both on demand?moomarc wrote:It used to be explicit, but it filtered out hybrid cards whereas you want it to show all cards castable with mana of those colours (and I suspect it would do the same with split cards). What about using the multi toggle as a way to determine whether you want hybrid or non-hybrid cards? With the multi option selected only the relevant gold cards would be displayed, whereas just red and blue with no multi would return hybrid cards.

I would like to have the left corner "OK" and "Cancel" buttons enlarged to make them much taller. This won't take over any necessary screen real estate, but will allow touchscreen users to easily press them.
Thanks for this incredible software!

Maybe we could improve the spell shop? I really miss the 'Cheat - add card' functionality but it simply added a card you wanted to your pool. We could expand this idea, by replacing the spell shop to some sort of "trader"
A trader in real life could theoretically get any card. It requires them to spend their time and money to get your desired card, and all this work comes attached with an increased price. the Quest Trader would act basically the same way a real trader would: they have their own pool of cards that you can buy, they accept your cards as payment (already implemented as Spell Shop). They also accept card requests, that could work like this:
1) You ask the trader to search for card X (requires a small fee)
2) You must wait a few matches (varies depending on rarity of the card)
3) After the time has passed the trader comes with either the requested card or nothing at all (after all there's a chance the trader simply can't find the card)
Other ideas for the quest trader:
- Every now and then, the trader asks for your most valuable cards. For this transaction, the trader would be willing to pay up to Y% (say 80%) of its sell price
- Cards on sale. Every now and then a trader needs to get rid of their junk. This could be implemented by grouping rares that are within a price range and selling this group at a discounted price. Expensive cards (for example, ones that cost 1000 credits or more) could appear on sale after you won a match/challenge
- Match prizes could also be discount tickets (instead of cards/boosters). The discount ticket cannot be used on a card that costs more than Z credits (discount on a P9?)
what do you guys think?

I dont think a "pay you to go try to find a card for me" should replace the spell shop. If someone were to add it, it should be something different.lazylockie wrote:Maybe we could improve the spell shop? I meant as an additional feature, the spell shop would be exactly the same as is right now. the replacement is just a name change (to incorporate the additional functionality)friarsol wrote:I dont think a "pay you to go try to find a card for me" should replace the spell shop. I too have been thinking it would be nice to "request" particular cards in the card shop. There's an option to display all cards in the card shop, so all we need is a right-click option to request selected card..

These are all 0-priority and GUI related, but I think they'd be nice:
Planes in the command zone should default to a landscape layout.
Targeting arrows currently connect the center of each card, but don't relocate when either card is tapped. It would be nice if targeting arrows led to the center of tapped cards.
Yes/No prompts on triggered abilities pop up in a new window. It would really streamline play if they all used the Yes/No buttons in the command prompt pane (as an option?)

How about if you already own a playset of a card, that card will no long appear in the shop.

Users should have to hold the click for at least 1 second before any tab will move.

I don't like this idea. What if I want more than 4 copies of a card?mightyjl wrote:How about if you already own a playset of a card, that card will no long appear in the shop.
