A Golgari deck with a huuuuge body (anti milling deck :P)
The balance of the deck is way off. There are about fifty cards that profit from cards being in the graveyard, but only 16 cards that help filling your graveyard (counting Jarad's Orders which only adds one card).

I appreciate your input on deck ideas a lot Nordos, but please also help with testing and tweaking. A working Golgari deck opponent would be really great (we currently only have the UBG Hobbes decks), so i will add it when it's functional.

Hm. Dunno. Could be something, yet it may not be working. That's because I am not able to test it since I have not the knowlegde to add Notion Thief to my version :P

Thinking about it - it needs something which prevents being attacked in the first 5 rounds. do you have any idea what could be included besides Royal Assassin? Maybe Fog Bank ...
This deck is promising, but also needs some testing: Jace's Erasure, Howling Mine and Notion Thief work great together, but sometimes it does nothing in the first three turns and then drops Teferi's Puzzle Box, followed by Venser's Journal and Keening Stone. Ugh.

I don't know whetever the AI does use the deck effective, yet when I tested it, it was a pretty solid medium deck. Gotta let the AI play the deck and look whetever he does what he is supposed to do

For the Notion Thief deck: Yes, I'm aware of that problem, yet I don't know how to make it more consistent. I already tried my utmost :-/

EDIT: Im pretty sure there are more then 16 cards which add cards into the yard:
4 Splinterfright 4 Jarad's Orders 4 Grisly Salvage 4 Drown in Filth 4 Deadbridge Chant - that adds up to 20 :)
I did try to get a sacrifice theme, too (with the Varolz, the Scar-Striped and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
Due to the high count of mana accelerators, he is able to play Ghoultree and it's like pretty fast w/o needing to rely on having creatures in the yard

How does the AI use Sewer Nemesis? Would he choose himself as the player, too?
Some dregde cards could be included, but I always fear that he would only dregde these cards, leaving him with these weak ones and miss the chance to play, for example, Deadbridge Chant. Otherwise I would suggest following creatures: Stinkweed Imp and Golgari Grave-Troll.
I would personally go against Life from the Loam. I deeply am concerned that the AI wouldn't know when to stop in the lategame...

Did you test it for yourself, Sloth? I would change the deck a bit into
golgari med | Open
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Bloodstained Mire
4 Boneyard Wurm
4 Deadbridge Chant
4 Deadbridge Goliath
4 Dreg Mangler
4 Drown in Filth

4 Jarad's Orders
3 Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

4 Varolz, the Scar-Striped
4 Verdant Catacombs
4 Vine Trellis
4 Vulturous Zombie
4 Wall of Roots
4 Windswept Heath
4 Wooded Foothills
4 Worm Harvest (due to fetchlands, it should still quite useable even w/o cards to put lands into the yard)

On another note: Do you can think of any improvements for this deck:
golgari/simic | Open
4 Bayou
2 Bred for the Hunt
2 Cloudfin Raptor
4 Corpsejack Menace
2 Crowned Ceratok
2 Cytoplast Root-Kin

4 Renegade Krasis
2 Sapphire Drake
2 Shambleshark
4 Simic Guildgate
2 Slitherhead
1 Tree of Redemption
4 Tropical Island
4 Underground Sea
2 Zameck Guildmage

And while we are about it, what do you think about a cipher related deck? Yes, there was a reason why I kept insisting on improving it :D
cipher with 'spell casted' related cards | Open
2 Call of the Nightwing
3 Circu, Dimir Lobotomist
4 Consuming Aberration
4 Drowned Catacomb
4 Hands of Binding
4 Invisible Stalker
11 Island
2 Last Thoughts
1 Midnight Recovery
2 Stolen Identity
4 Swamp
2 Tablet of the Guilds (-> maybe increase the count?)
3 Talrand, Sky Summoner (-> are 3 maybe over the top?)
1 Tidespout Tyrant
3 Tormented Soul
2 Undercity Plague
4 Underground Sea
1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Maybe you can add white for Enlightened Tutor, Haunted Angel, Hunted Lammasu and some anti black cards?

I do like your pic better than mine. 8)

While doing a google search I discovered that there was a comic character named Diablo who was a villain in a Marvel comic book, and I suspected that Sloth might be more of a Marvel comic book fan than a Diablo computer game fan.

We will put Sloth in a bind and let him state which Diablo he was thinking about.

well, it is true that these are, somehow, anti synergic. (or, let me phrase it different: Chant does help the troll, yet the troll does not help the chant.)
What I thought about it is, that since it is such a huge body, there are simply not enough cards which profit in either way from cards being in the yard. Both of them do profit from having cards in the yard, yet the probability of drawing cards which do are less when you have only scavenge / boneyard.
So, either reducing the body in total (while I really wanted to see another >=200 card deck) or keeping it this way. IMO it is a solid medium opponent, so the reduced version could become, with some addition, maybe a hard opponent. How does that sound? I will try to cut one of these (prefereable scavenge) and see if it would be strong enough for hard (even though I doubt it)

Hm... So we would get W G B.
White has a lot of cards which benefit from having the enemy being soley black. It could be interesting.
That said - does the AI know how to use circle of prot?

Actually i'm not a big Marvel (or DC) fan and i don't even know half of the Marvel characters i've used. They just provide a nice pool of characters to grab from.

Concerning Diablo, i didn't know about the Marvel character. Just as timmermac, i had the Blizzard character in mind.
