Don' know if it has been asked before but... can the Momir Basic be implemented in the system? It should be fairly easy and the AI should be quite good at it!

Momir Basic & MoJhoSto *would* be cool additions... I have a few ideas for this, but it may be a while yet.I'm thinking i we'd simply allow you to choose multiple avatars each game once we manage to actually implement the avatars, rather than making it a full-fledged gamemode on it's own.
EDIT: Heh, apparently we already have momir and stonehewer, albeit a bit buggy.I may decide to unify their code and improve their AI a bit, though.

First of all, I enjoy the game very much, but there is one thing that irks me.
It is easy to miss when the AI is casting something, and even then, if it's a sorcery or instant, it only shows the effect in the stacks and log page. Many times I had to go back to the log page to see why my opponents mana was tapped and to his graveyard to see what exactly the card did.
Would it be possible to have the card your opponent is playing show up in a pop up so it's easier to see what is happening and have a better chance to react to it?

Being able to look for precise sentence in the deck editor, and put joker strings that would mean "this card's name", or "one green mana in the text", >>> that would be helpful !

I agree with this.SuddenReal wrote:First of all, I enjoy the game very much, but there is one thing that irks me.

Personally, I would like to see added to quest mode, at least in challenges, other game variations, like planechase, archenemy and the such. I think it would add a lot of variety to the quest mode. (Enforcing deck construction, obviously)

Yea, alternate modes are all pretty new. I'm sure at some point we'll get around to adding them into Quest.freddyjsg wrote:Personally, I would like to see added to quest mode, at least in challenges, other game variations, like planechase, archenemy and the such. I added some AILogic for Momir Avatar ability. Feel free to try it out.donluca wrote:Don' know if it has been asked before but... can the Momir Basic be implemented in the system? It should be fairly easy and the AI should be quite good at it!
I used the following deck for both myself and the AI in Vangard mode. Make sure you check the box that uses default Avatars.
[metadata]
Name=MomirBasic
[Avatar]
1 Momir Vig, Simic Visionary Avatar|VAN
[Main]
6 Forest|RTR
8 Island|RTR
20 Mountain|RTR
6 Plains|RTR
20 Swamp|RTR
[Sideboard]
[Planes]
[Schemes]

Should be. Why? Any particular bug you're seeing? Please report it in the beta thread if so.Luxis wrote:Is the Planechase game working properly?

Has anyone considered adding an EDH mode to Forge?

Oh yeah, definitely. Parts of Commander has been added, other parts are still being mulled over. In fact, we even put a blurb about it in the release thread/README.divineflame1 wrote:Has anyone considered adding an EDH mode to Forge?

Well, time to put a request myself...
For me it would be great when I build a deck from one block (e.g. Kamigawa) and then could select a choice where the random deck of the ai would be only from the same block. (or on greater scale, at least in the modern format and not all cards).
And secondly, how about some small colored indicators beside the deck names in the custom user deck list to tell which colors are used in it.
And last, thanks you for your hard work!

Is it possible to lift restrictions on the Sanctioned format: constructed play to include 40 card decks so 40 card precons will work. Currently, these can not be selected to play. Otherwise, Forge loses a very considerable amount of precon decks that would otherwise work.
Also, the same applies to sideboards and DotP decks. All DotP decks have large sideboards to allow the player various deck styles within the same deck. Such restrictions are completely killing our ability to play WOTC designed products.
If this problem could be fixed, it would be greatly appreciated.

The current constructed tournament rules clearly state the restrictions of at least 60 cards in main deck + none or exactly 15 cards in sideboard.otherright wrote:Is it possible to lift restrictions on the Sanctioned format: constructed play to include 40 card decks so 40 card precons will work. If the decks you want to play with are not designed for tournaments, just disable the restrictions in preferences
