gift of estates now doesn't work? It lets me search for 3 lands, but they don't end up in my hand

New deck is up, but be aware there will definitely be bugs as I was unable to finish fixing a few cards. Will be laid up a few days from surgery so it will probably be a few days before I can do any more work on these. I have checked Gift of Estates, it should work, but yeah I had the same glitch happen in a game... in theory if the land doesn't get put into your hand, it shouldn't let you search for it at all...

But, I am not clear-headed enough to apparently find the issue, hopefully will have a massive update soon.

EDIT: Fixed a few bugs already, but it's slow-going. Can't figure out what is wrong with a few cards, like Worldpurge.... I can't even get it to bounce all permanents, but the code that lets you select what to keep works... except it doesn't show you any of the cards in your hand at all... :roll:

Hi there,

I was trying to play with the very interesting Shadows of the Wastes deck, but Blue Sun's Zenith's artwork refuses to show up. I also tried to make a deck with Riiak's utility, and the card doesn't even appear there :?

I'm confused, the list of the cards in your core.wad doesn't include Blue Sun's Zenith, but this card isn't on the original game as well. I'm afraid I'm missing something very obvious here :|

Due to game crashing now because of the steam update, probably won't be bothering with this unless someone cracks it...

EDIT: NVM, got back to working on this. Apparently I never made Blue Sun's Zenith or deleted it for some reason. Will be fixed with the new update soon. This the deck will currently cause game crashing on steam because of the missing card. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Shadows of the Wastes is under a complete overhaul since I found there are at least 4 missing cards. Steam Users can delete the deck to continue using my mods for the moment. Again, sorry for the inconvenience, but when I am done with it, it will be a whole new beast and a whole lot closer to what I originally intended it to be; Nightmares and Shapeshifters.

Hopefully, some consolation, New Mono-Black Demon-Themed Ramp/Aggro deck "Diabolic Intent" is up and quite a few other card fixes as well. :)

but i think the silver paladin doesn't work

You need Riiak Shi Naal's ObjectDC functions, which can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=109&t=11079

Sorry, I have been away for a bit and will probably not have the time to work on this for the majority of teh next week. I will try to get to some of these issues and fix them asap, but I have a lot of more pressing issues I need to deal with first. :)

No worries, RL is more important than a computer game, although I naturally enjoy playing around with the DoTP mods.

Another thing to note is that Detention Sphere doesn't seem to work. The script log says this

Yeah, ummm that card was still untested to begin with, and since I am still unsure how Monstrous works, I probably won't be fixing it until we have an update on the new rules for that ability. Problem came when I put "GetEffectX()" where it doesn't belong and I would have to rewrite a whole chunk of the code, so rather than re-write it and then re-write it again when I can find the actual rules for the ability, it's going to be on hold. Sorry. :/

Hehehe, that's because in my haste I copied TFMs version of the card and he has his own function for filtering permanents, which I forgot about. I will fix it very soon. If you have thefiremind's mod installed, it works, but I will re-write it and make it independent of other mods again. :)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but my game crashes on start up every time after installing your mods. I made sure that I had all the appropriate files in place, and the game runs after I remove your decks.

It creates a .dmp file every time. How can I fix this?

Delete DATA_DECKS_972001_ST.wad the deck was apparently missing some cards and I am still in the process of slowly rebuilding that deck over again. If the game can't find all the cards in a deck (including unlocks) it will crash on startup. Sorry for the hassle, but I got hammered by a bunch of RL stuff recently and am still trying to deal, so my time coding and such has been very little over the past few weeks.

Added new deck, "Lifecycles", a saproling/lifegain deck and (should have) fixed Detention Sphere.

I got one script log on Korozda Guildmage, but haven't found out the source of the problem. Seems to work just fine otherwise.
