Thanks for a wonderful program
by demonnic » 28 Aug 2013, 18:59
I just wanted to drop a quick note of thanks for this delightful program. I've only been using it for a short time now, but it is easily the best and most versatile Player-vs-AI M:tG system I've come across yet, and that's including the official ones. Having worked with a couple of open sourced projects before, I wanted to be sure to express my appreciation.
Is there a general roadmap document somewhere? I'd like to keep track of what there may be to look forward to in the future. I do hope network play is on the list. =)

As to a roadmap, there's nothing official. But often the devs will post what they plan to work on in the Developers Corner sub forum. With only a little over 300 cards left of all cards ever printed (excluding the Un- sets), we're obviously trying to slowly get them all implemented. Hellfish has been working intermittently on getting Commander working. Spr and drdev have been working on improving the UI and general user experience. Max has kinda lead the charge for trying to prepare Forge for network play eventually... And of course there's always bug fixing.

I've been lurking in there a little bit, reading some of the posts. The UI stuff in particular has been interesting to follow. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what else comes out of forge, and maybe cloning the repo to have a play myself.
Anyway, thanks again! And thanks for the swift answer.
