Share your quest save - I hope someone would be able to see what can be done with the problem.Doerk wrote:The same slowdown happens to me. In quest mode, after I acquire ~5000 cards, forge starts slowing down, dramatically around 8000.
My initial guess is that the shop screen is redrawn too frequently.

I am willing to share it. Should I send it to you?

Configurable sort order for the deck editor. Specifically for your deck. Thinking primary and secondary sort-by fields, with ascending/descending option for each one. For instance, you could make your primary sort field be type, ascending, and your secondary sort field mana cost/ascending and it would allow you to get a good overview of your deck's breakdown by type, with each type being sorted further into a quick and dirty mana curve. Clicking the top of any field to sort the table would need to disable the secondary field, I'd think, and overwrite the active primary field. Perhaps a small button to reset the sort order to your defined preferences as well.
Sorry if it sounds picky, but this would be super handy and I figure it's better to be more specific than less.

Sort order is already implemented and has been for a long time.demonnic wrote:Configurable sort order for the deck editor. Specifically for your deck. Additionally, if you click on the same column twice in a row it will sort in the reverse order.moomarc wrote:Sort order is already implemented and has been for a long time.Just click on the column label. Clicking on a second column header will then make the new selection the primary order with the previous selection becoming the secondary sort order. This is true for at least 3 levels. It is always in ascending order though.

I think it would be great if filtering out a colour would remove it also from multicolored combinations (so for example, if I select to display "blue" and "black", I should see all blue, black, blue/black multicolored and maybe also all cards that I can cast with only blue and black (so those blue/white where I can choose which colour I can use)

I'm actually working on an enhancement to the deck editor filters right now and was already planning that very change. You will still have the option to filter out multicolor cards using the existing toggle button though.antekm wrote:I think it would be great if filtering out a colour would remove it also from multicolored combinations (so for example, if I select to display "blue" and "black", I should see all blue, black, blue/black multicolored and maybe also all cards that I can cast with only blue and black (so those blue/white where I can choose which colour I can use)
I also hope at some point to support filtering by color identity as well, particular with Commander becoming an available format.

okay, one thing i'd like to see is an option as to what the mouse wheel does. I don't mind the mouse wheel click showing bigger portraits of the cards, but please add an option to where the mouse wheel scrolls through the screen. i play a sliver deck and even my alts involve alot of tokens, and it's just instinct now to try to scroll up and down through the field to look for mana or creatures.
I really enjoy forge, and i would love it if you could do this. Thank you much man.
edit: sorry if i posted this in the wrong spot. delete it if you need, i just wanted to ask for that one small change.
Mod edit: Delete, no. Move? Yes. This sounds like a feature request and this would be the spot for those.

You can scroll using the mouse wheel if the pointer is over the scrollbar. Admittedly, the scrollbar increment is miniscule so I can take a look at increasing that.Bjjorick wrote:okay, one thing i'd like to see is an option as to what the mouse wheel does. Ha, I didn't consider it would automagically stack the sort orders, and I hadn't played with it long enough in the editor to notice this behaviour on my own. Thank you =)friarsol wrote:Additionally, if you click on the same column twice in a row it will sort in the reverse order.moomarc wrote:Sort order is already implemented and has been for a long time.Just click on the column label. Like there's a key to attack with every creature possible, could there be one to block as well? I made a deck based on tokens, so.. with it, I put many, many creatures on the battlefield. Of course it wouldn't be just one key to assign blocks for to everyattacking creature, then, I was thinking: Maybe if you press CTRL, for example, and click on a group of 5 cards, and they all block the same! : )
But there's still another occasion, where you get attacked by a ton of 1/1, and you have too, a lot of 1/1 to block, and oh man, too many clicks. Maybe a panel with the player describing the target creature he wants to block, like selecting the power and toughtness, then, the same for the blocking ones. It would be something like:
"Block all creatures with <player input>" (for example '1/1'), "All creatures with <player input> will block 'previous player input' ".
Hahaha, I don't know, something like that.
I know, I know.. it's not so easy to program something like this, I know, I'm a programmer as well, but it is possbile, so.. just an idea. : )
I have many other ideas about Forge and elements that could make the playing experience even more pleasant, but I don't remember right now.. haha.. Maybe some other time.
Sorry for my bad english.
Keep up the great work, guys. Cheers.

On the same line of thought, maybe having a button to ungroup (is it disgroup?) and regroup tokens. It's still a pain to click through all them, but at least you don't need to pinpoint the exact location of each token when stacked. Then, when combat is over you simply regroup them to reduce space usageLuxis wrote:Like there's a key to attack with every creature possible, could there be one to block as well? That sounds handy for blocking. Continuing that line of thought, having a button that quick-selects an entire stack would speed up attacker selection, for when you want to swing in with lots (but not all) of your creatures.lazylockie wrote:On the same line of thought, maybe having a button to ungroup (is it disgroup?) and regroup tokens. The empty space at the bottom-left corner of the stack could be a decent spot for a triangular "ungroup" button, with the top right for "select this stack".

Exactly, guys! Good one!
I can already imagine: You hold ctrl while the mouse is above the group of 5 and the cards just spread a little, I don't know.. This distance could be ajustable as well..
It would be very nice.. haha Whatever, what matters is that ideas are always coming around. : )
