I have come across a few errors.
1. Celestial Dawn is not a recognized card.
2. Enduring renewal requires a creature to be put back into your hand immediately after it hits the graveyard. However, when using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice said creature for 2 colorless mana, the creature goes directly back to your hand, and you get no mana. This makes mana combos impossible.
3. Phasing. When a creature phases in and out, it is removed or returned to game play. The creature does not suffer summoning sickness. But, it "is" entering the battlefield. Combos that specify "when this creature enters the battlefield" are not taken into account with phasing.
Just a few tidbits. There are quite a few more.

Incidentally, I would love a card creator/editor. Or even source to do it.

You seem to be new here, please check out the link in my signature for more information about how we request users report bugsEntregan wrote:I have come across a few errors.

1. This isn't an error, that card isn't available in Forge. We don't currently have 100% card support, but we aren't missing very many.
3. That's not true about Phasing. It hasn't been true in many years.
702.25d The phasing event doesn’t actually cause a permanent to change zones or control, even though it’s treated as though it’s not on the battlefield and not under its controller’s control while it’s phased out. Zone-change triggers don’t trigger when a permanent phases in or out. Counters remain on a permanent while it’s phased out. Effects that check a phased-in permanent’s history won’t treat the phasing event as having caused the permanent to leave or enter the battlefield or its controller’s control.

You are correct about my being new here.
1. I appreciate the information.
3. I wasn't aware of the updated rules. Sorry for the confusion.

In Quest mode a special settings would be useful to use the cheapest pricing available for a given card, regardless of the set it originates from. Currently it's easy to abuse the game selling for example Mountains from some early edition for hundreds or even thousands of coins.
Also one thing I've noticed - not sure if it's a bug or intended - regardless of displayed selling price, maximum I can get for one card is 1000.

It's intentional, listed on the card shop screen (Maximum selling price is XXXX, and goes away after 50 games (I believe?)antekm wrote:Also one thing I've noticed - not sure if it's a bug or intended - regardless of displayed selling price, maximum I can get for one card is 1000.

Expanding on one of Marek's ideas in the beta thread, I think it would be great if we added a 'Notifications' section to the Preferences and F1 menu. From those we should be able to enable/disable notifications for things like opponent suspended a card or opponent scrying - anything that a player might want a more visible notification for.
I'll look into it soon if noone else gets 'round to it.

You can easily do this by adding editions to your res\editions folder. Here are Guru, Asia Pacific, and Euro lands, and the DotP theme decks. Drop these files in res\editions, and images in Pics\APL, Pics\EUL, Pics\GUR, and Pics\DPA.correioalternativo wrote:Add basic lands from:

Can it be made so when we choose a block in Sealed, we can choose any combination of expansion packs to play with? For example, I want to play a game using only Eventide, or half Besieged and half New Phyrexia.

No problem. These are all the set files I've added to my Forge so far. I don't have the lists of cards in all the other promo sets, and while it would be nice to see the alternate art once in a while, it would be very time consuming to do by hand.correioalternativo wrote:Thank you, it works. Do you have Arena League and Friday Night files?
As for the lands, the reason I haven't bothered yet is that the rest of the special releases aren't as straight-forward to implement. For instance, the majority of the Arena lands are reprints. The new art tends to be a full set of the five basics by the same artist. Making an Arena lands file with nine of each basic is unhelpful, as you'll end up getting a smattering of nine completely disconnected islands (in varying frames, even,) next to your uniform M10 forests (the same is true for the MPS lands.) What you want is a Don Thompson set, and a Tony Roberts set, and a John Avon Ravnica set, etc. At the moment in Forge, though, if you hit upon such a set randomly it would mean that your forests would all be the one Don Thompson forest (actually that's not so bad...)
So, a new feature request: it would be great if the "use random images" option made it so that all basics come from the same set, optionally across all players' decks.
Until then, it's probably easiest to just create and add the files and art you'd like yourself, to your own preferences, using the existing text files as a template.

You can already do this by creating a fantasy block. Check the wiki here for a comprehensive explanation.Gargroyal wrote:Can it be made so when we choose a block in Sealed, we can choose any combination of expansion packs to play with? Having the ability to create custom cards and sets and add them to forge and then either mix them with magic cards or keep them separate would just be gravy.drdev wrote:That's something I hope to work on in the near future actually.Entregan wrote:Incidentally, I would love a card creator/editor.
