I was watching some youtube mtg tournament IRL and was just wondering whether we can create/code cards/decks that are used and won in those tournament, so that we can know how playing a champion's deck feels like? :D

I am pretty sure most of Sumomole's decks are tournament decks. I recognize a few of them.

Yes chieuduong, this is very possible and it's also one of the reasons this thread was started. Yet, there are a precious few cards not possible to implement properly because of engine limitations. So feel free to request any deck list your come across or compose. Sumomole does an excellent jobs proving really fun decks to play as does the other members of the community.

sylento22 wrote:How are those decks comin are any of them done yet i wanta try them ou today :) send me a link ASAP plz thankx :)
How are you sylento22? I'm composing a lot of decks and will release them as a mass amount by the close of this weekend. Expect them by Sunday evening / night. Also, I received your other deck requests and will see what cards I have available per lists. If everything is available I'll post them along with the other decks on the aforementioned date. Thanks for inquiring!

@MC Brodie: I double checked the tread and I still don't have the remaining five or so cards for the Dawn of the Fox deck that's listed on the front page. I'm not sure how I missed these cards but can you direct me to the appropriate link or re-post the DL? I'd be really grateful.

@thepiebaker concerning Ultimate Undead and @Kiulier pertaining to Suspended Sentence: Have either of you requested the cards needed for your decks in the Formal Request Thread? If not, please do so when you have time so we can make your decks available for you to DL. Thanks for your patience!

I see. Here is what you have on the front page with my responses:
  • Griffin Rider -- The person who requested this deck said this card was suppose to be Griffin Guide, not Griffin Rider. Griffin Guide is in the vanilla version of the game. See this post.
  • Kitsune Mystic (Autumn-Tail, Kitsune Sage) -- This is a flip card and flip card's aren't possible without too many approximations that could break other parts of the game. I'm not sure if a replacement card has been named yet.
  • Opal-Eye, Konda's Yojimbo -- This is the only card that isn't coded with the exception of the flip card replacement. I couldn't get a working version of this card but I posted as far as I could get earlier in this thread. Hopefully someone else can figure it out.
  • Patron of the Kitsune -- Thefiremind coded all of the Patron cards with offering and provided a download for them in this thread. The wad in that download has everything you'll need including the required functions, localised text, card artwork and of course Patron of the Kitsune.
  • Recumbent Bliss -- As I said in the original post, this card is in sumo's 2013 mod found here.

Hopefully that helps.

Do you have any specific decks in mind? I guess, what kind of format were they playing in the tournament were you watching (Legacy, Modern or Standard)? As people have mentioned, Sumomole has made some pretty powerful decks. Though someone already linked it, you can get sumo's decks here. I know kevlanhota has made some world championship decks that you can find here. The most powerful/unfair decks in the game are Legacy decks. East Bay has provided 18 different Legacy decks here. If you have anything specific in mind just ask.

Indeed it helped. You're always helpful. I updated the front page accordingly.

Here is the card Glare of Heresy from Theros if anyone needs it. I was putting together a requested deck and made it. Raymond Swanland constantly produces awesome artwork and this depiction thoroughly lives up to the namesake of the card.

I got a few more cards done for some decks (with help from other modders of course). Thanks to jacque, I've figured out what the Magicville link is on TFMs web generator so the art is a little better this time around. I've tested most of the cards pretty well but there still could be errors. I'm still not sure if Shadow works in all cases but I haven't found any issues with it yet.

I have a request for you Kieran. I've just been going off the cards you need for complete decks in the first post of the thread. When you add a new deck could you also put the date it was requested by the deck name? That way I can get to them in order and we don't have someone keep getting skipped over. I'm asking this for future decks. I'm not asking you to go back and add it to the decks currently listed in the first post.

Deck: Grave Rot (complete)
  • Desecration Elemental -- Included in attachment
  • Force of Savagery -- Included in attachment
  • Hunted Horror -- I started to code this card but I'm lazy and didn't feel like doing the tokens  . Though, I believe jacque has already coded it (with the token) so you could probably ask her for it.
  • Korozda Guildmage -- Included in attachment. It requires the Grave Rot UI text file

Deck: Soul of the Vampire (complete)
  • Spirit en-Dal -- Included in attachment. It requires the Soul Vamp UI text file, Soul Vamp upkeep token and Soul Vamp function file.
  • Tainted Field -- Included in attachment. I'm only somewhat familiar with Riiak's mana functions. I know he codes a backup mana ability incase activated abilities are somehow turned off. I have this functionality working for the colorless mana but I didn't attempt to do it for the swamp or plains mana abilities. I guess what I'm saying is this card could/needs improvement.

Deck: Ultimate Undead (complete with comments)
  • Kaervek the Merciless -- This is in sumomole's 2013 throwback mod found here
  • Last Rites -- Included in attachment. It requires the Ult Undead UI text file.
  • Meglonoth -- Included in attachment
  • Nezumi Graverobber/Nighteyes the Desecrator -- This is a flip card and not possible.
  • Nim Deathmantle -- Included in attachment
  • Victory's Herald -- Included in attachment
  • Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger -- You've already noted the difficulties with this card
  • Yore-Tiller Nephilim -- Included in attachment. It requires the Ult Undead UI text file.

Deck: Suspended Sentence (incomplete)
I started working on some of these cards but since it looks like Paradox Haze is a key card in the deck. I've had problems with Paradox Haze and couldn't get it to work. Some other modders have tried too. Since I don't know if Paradox Haze is possible (due to engine limitations) and it may be a key card in this deck, I stopped coding cards for it. Nonetheless, here are the few I have for it.
  • Augur of Skulls -- Included in attachment. It requires the Sus Sen UI text file, Sus Sen upkeep token and Sus Sen function file.
  • Ichor Slick -- Included in attachment. It requires the Sus Sen UI text file.
  • Lost Hours -- Included in attachment. It requires the Sus Sen UI text file.

Grave Rot, Slivering Gruul, and Soul of the Vampire deck selection. Also, there is the deck box for Deathpact Descent which is still being refined and will be released soon.

This is the custom image I used for Hunted Horror until someone supplies an HQ image of the original.

Amazing work as always MC Brodie! We're all thankful for your support and contributions. And that's a wonderful idea. I hope no one feels neglected or skipped over. I'll be sure to start adding the dates so we as a community can work towards filling request in the order in which the were submitted. Again, we're composing decks as time permits and as I always point out, card availability is the only hindrance. Thanks to everyone for being so patient!

I went ahead and completed Grave Rot, Slivering Gruul, and Soul of the Vampire yesterday but didn't get to test them until today. I was going to complete Ultimate Undead but decided against it until thepiebaker let's me know what cards to use as replacements for Nezumi Graverobber/Nighteyes the Desecrator and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger.

I have another deck request. Hope this won't be as troublesome as the last one.

1. Kor Armory
2. Armament Master
3. Armament Master
4. Anything you like
5. Armament Master
6.
7. the number you're using
8. nope
9.
10. Your card list.

2x Kor Duelist
2x Armament Master
2x Kor Aeronaut
2x Kor Hookmaster
2x Kor Cartographer
2x Kitesail Apprentice
2x Lone Missionary
2x Stoneforge Mystic
2x Kor Outfitter
2x Knight of Cliffhaven
2x Soulbound Guardians

2x Landbind Ritual
2x Conqueror's Pledge

1x Spidersilk Net
1x Trusty Machete
1x Explorer's Scope
1x Fireshrieker
1x Vulshok Battlegear
1x General's Kabuto
1x Adventuring Gear
1x Grappling Hook
2x Swiftfoot Boots
1x Umezawa's Jitte
1x Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang

4x Kabira Crossroads
18x Plains

11. White

I can't think of a replacement for Kitsune Mystic that isn't another flip card... is it possible to make it without the flip mechanic? Something like "if Kitsune Mystic is enchanted by two or more Auras, it gains +2/+2 and 1: Attach target Aura attached to a creature to another creature"? Just blind guessing tbh. [-o<

Thanks for the amazing work everyone.

I believe that flip cards like Kitsune Mystic are codable... I'll try working on it later... *no promises tho*

If you can make it so that a Clone of a flipped card is generated unflipped, as the rules say, then congrats.

The thing is, in a real game, the card, never change, it's just upside down, or in other words, getting replaced with a new effect or ability. I believe that we can do the same using the "Level" concept. Kitsune Mystic is *easier* as it has the same CC, and of the same colour... *just thinking*

When you flip it, it becomes legendary and changes its name. You can add a supertype in DotP, but you can't change names. You could end up having some legendary Kitsune Mystics and some non-legendary ones, and I'm not sure about what would happen then.
