How to pay X life ?

Posted this in an other topic, but got no reaction, so post this as a new topic.

Going to back to the main menu was also a big mistery for me.
Searched also for some hotkeys, but couldn't find anything.

And at this moment I am figuring out how to pay life as mana cost, casting Bond of Agony.
Tried click on my Avatar, cause there is my life total. Tried UP and DOWN arrow, PageUP, PageDOWN.

How to pay X Life for Bond of Agony ? And where could I find this information. I tried several search keywords, but couldn't find anything.

By the way, I am using version 1.4.7 on Win7. Playing in Quest Mode.

To answer your questions:
To go back to the main menu you will have to click on the X on the top-right corner, but this is probably going to change soon when the new version is going to be released.
You probably misread Bond of Agony. You have to pay mana for X and it will subtract X from your life. The card is a bit confusing.
Your version is also slightly outdated, you should download the most recent.
