ok i have Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and just made Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. assuming cards with no number is one-of's, what about land distribution ? title, personality ? if you have the rest of the cards would you mind post it in zipped form here or point me in the right direction.

Drleg3nd, how can we customize land using Riak's deckbuilder? I always got 200+ lands if the game didn't count that we have enough basic land type for the color in the deck. I'm running into this problem recently trying to build some 5 colors deck thingy.

In Kieran's absence I was going to take some requests but I wasn't going to start until after the holidays. I'll still be pretty busy so if I have to code a lot of cards for a deck I'll probably only be able to do 1 a week. Plus you'll have the unfortunate experience of playing with cards I've coded

edit: the no number cards are on-offs and the land is only swamps, title is ultimate undead, and the personality i picked was sheoldred, if you have a different idea for a deck focused of summoning things from the graveyard feel free.

Dread Cacodemon should just be a single ETB trigger that checks if it was cast from hand which can be easily checked using WasCast(), GetErstwhileZone() and/or GetErstwhileErstwhileZone() along with 2 FILTER blocks and two RESOLUTION_TIME_ACTION blocks for the 2 effects (destroy opponent creatures & tap your other creatures). Just about any experienced modder should be able to make this card as the hardest part is the TRIGGER.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon will be more difficult to code and will require more testing due to issues with becoming another card temporarily. Essentially you would need to first StoreCopiableValues() for the original card (Scion of the Ur-Dragon) before changing into the other card then StoreCopiableValues() and UseCopiableValues() to change into the other card. Finally at end of turn if it is still on the battlefield UseCopiableValues() from itself to revert back to itself. Of those who have worked with this type of effect thefiremind or sumomole would probably be the best suited to make this one properly.

As far as I have been able to observe, the problem with temporary copy effects wearing off is that the original card gets all its triggered abilities shut down. Since Scion of the Ur-Dragon has no triggered abilities, the problem could probably be ignored. I made something similar with my Shaspeshifter card "Proteus".
I made now a version of Scion of the Ur-Dragon.
It works but i have a question, should the copied Dragon have haste? Because it seem useless to copy a card and it cannot use ability with

Anyway if is needed is simple to add haste

Your trigger for Dread Cacodemon is wrong as it should not trigger if brought to the battlefield by some other effect (like Elvish Piper), but your version will trigger. You absolutely need to have a check for WasCast() to make sure it was actually cast. Also the filter for Controller's creatures is wrong as it needs to exclude itself. You need to add:
- Code: Select all
