HQ Proxy printing program

Hi guys, i'm a newbie on this forum. I apologize in advance for my bad English.

I made a program, that gives you an ability to print high quality (300dpi) proxies from images on your hard disk or from the decklists. I've recommended to use XLHQ card scans for this.

Current program features:
-Load images from hard disk (single files or folder) and set it quantity to be printed.
-Import decklists in MTG:O txt format and Magic Workstation mwDeck format (Also, you can paste your own decklist)
-Recognize cards in decklist and automatically download card images from magiccards (Multilanguage cards supported)
-Generate proxy images to print (9 cards on the page)
-Preview builded proxy images
-Export generated proxy to PDF

To do:
-If you have card images, use it while generating proxy from decklist, instead of downloading images from magiccards
-Maybe something else...

Program requires framework 3.5. Please, be patient, when program generates proxy of PDF document - it takes much time, because proxy generates in high quality.

I hope you write some bug reports in this topic, if you found a bug. Also, I look forward to your suggestions about new features.

I've currently implemented new feature. Now the program can use card scans, stored on your HDD. Also, there is an option, that allows you to force image downloading from magiccards (program will not use scans, strored locally). Now i'm testing it and will upload new version soon.

Someone, tell me please, which file names are possible for card scans? (Such as <CARD NAME>.jpg or <CARD_NAME>.jpg)

I have not tried this program out yet, but one thing that would be real handy is to test the image size and if it doesn't have the expected dimensions of a card with proper border size to add a border around the image to give it a proper size would be handy. From the screenshot above it looks as though if you have the MWS images with the thinner frame that it may produce proxies with slimmer frame sizes.

Are you referring to the card names used by the CCGHQ team here? If so you have the following:

<card name>.jpg
<card name>.4khq.jpg
<card name>.xlhq.jpg
<card name>.full.jpg
<card name>.crop.jpg


4khq = 600dpi
xlhq = 300dpi
full = 200ppi (96dpi)
crop = 200ppi (96dpi) cropped artwork only

Hi, thanks a lot for this easy to use program.

I would love to drag n drop support. I find it easier to search for card scans on my hdd with the file search and then just drag n drop them into your ProxyGen.

I like the program but the cards being printed are not the correct dimensions to fit well on a Magic card.

Is there a way to adjust this?

Yes , it's possible. Edit config/config.txt and change this value:

output.card.border = 23

(original value 45)

This value is closer to the real size. It's the value I use. If you are not happy you can adjust this or other values.

Does this config file you mentioned in your post comes with the mtg_proxygen.rar program ?
When I download the file, I do not end up with such a config file.
What did I do wrong ?
