Any tutorial on how to use the program or how this works?

Sorry Im new to MTG Forge, just installed it this afternoon.
I played some games on cockatrice with friends before but now I cant figure out how the program works.
How to play my cards?
It seems like I cant play my lands after I draw.
(If Im not wrong thats the moment when you play your lands right?)
Im not a Magic Expert, Im learning to play too.
Thats why Im so interested on this program and project.
If somebody can help me out to get started will be nice.
I was able to build my deck, and would like to be able to play it against the computer.

You can play a land when the phase is at M1 (main phase, pre-combat)
Or, in case you didn't play any land at M1, you can still play it when the phase reach M2 (main phase, post-combat)



If you have played a land in M1, you can't play another one in M2 (of course depending if you have some spells that allows you to deploy another one)

Always you can start Ai vs Ai match to see how they play(or watching ex. in yt mtg: duels of planeswalker gameplays) to learning basic mtg rules.

Actually the newest version of Forge doesn't let you do anything, not even play lands. I have this problem on both Win7 and Win8. It gives an exception, but since I uninstalled it and don't remember what it said, I can't post it. If I ever use my other computer (which still has it) and the problem still exists, I'll post it.
