It looks like the error is that it appears twice in the log - unless I'm missing something, Tribal Flames should only deal 1 damage (and only once) with your land configuration.Fizanko wrote:Looks like Tribal Flames have a problem
I have 3 basic lands, the target Zebra Unicorn is 2/2 , and despite the log mention it taking 2 times 1 damage, in the end the target does not die as it should and is only treated as if it was dealt 1 damage
The AI didn't cast any spell to protect or anything, and does not have any enchantment on the field.

It seems to be working as intended to me. That screenshot says you only have mountains out, so it would only deal 1 point of damage.Fizanko wrote:Looks like Tribal Flames have a problem

I noticed a few oddities.
My Sage of Hours' Card Detail shows:
Remembered:
Hidden Strings
Hidden Strings
Hidden Strings
Hidden Strings
Hidden Strings
even though I only cast Hidden Strings twice. Looks like it remembers cipher trigger copies as well, even though they don't do anything. A bit confusing.
When I click Sage of Hours, all +1/+1 counters are immediately removed. This ability can even be activated for zero counters. The real problem here is that if I accidentally click Sage of Hours before it has 5 or more counters, all counters are removed but I do not get an extra turn. The stack still says "Sage of Hours (<ID>) - <player> takes an extra turn after this one.", but I didn't get the extra turn, so initially I thought Sage of Hours was broken (but I guess it must only have had 4 +1/+1 counters). This happened several times in a row because my opponent had a tapped Desecration Demon and I immediately clicked Sage of Hours upon entering combat because I wanted to attack with it but didn't realize the Desecration Demon trigger was on the stack. So instead of assigning Sage of Hours as an attacker, I kept removing all counters for no value. It would be nice if Sage of Hours' ability had a confirmation before the cost was paid, such as "Remove <n> counters from Sage of Hours for <m> extra turns? [OK|Cancel]".
Also, I noticed that the AI now taps lands to float mana in response to me tapping its lands, but it does not do so in response to Hidden Strings.

Ah i see the problem now, i was mistaking "number of basic land type " for "number of basic lands" , so basically with my monocolor deck, Tribal Flame is just a crappy damage dealer, it's a card that is more intended for multicolored decks to deal actual serious damage
Though indeed the log mentionning the 1 damage dealt twice is then a bug

If you look closely, the logs have different formatting, one for an SA resolving, and one for damage dealing.
CARDNAME deals X damage to <OBJECT> (Damage is dealt)
CARDNAME - Deals X damage to <OBJECT> (SA Finishes Resolving)
Cast a spell like Psionic Blast and take a look at what logs it spits out.

the less i can say is that it's very confusing to have entries relating to different game phases that use the same wording.
I'm not english but maybe something like "is dealing" for the original damage phase and a "has dealt" for the final damage one could be more appropriate ?

Krazy found a scenario where this happened to him in the trunk builds which actually provided some extra information about which cost the AI was fumbling over. You mentioned that you were able to open up the Zone panels. Did you happen to see what was in the AIs hand? Does this always seem to happen when the AI has a Circle of Protection or Mana Battery in play?Greentryst wrote:I just resumed using Forge, having quit when I encountered a freeze condition in 1.5.4 that was not addressed. Unfortunately, I found that the problem persists in 1.5.17.
My previous bug report remains accurate for this version, with one exception: I can now successfully concede the game.
This time, I have attempted to augment the usefulness of the report with a brief video which demonstrates the frozen game state, as well as runaway CPU usage. Unfortunately, the forum software will not allow me to include the URL: "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs." Instead, I will explain that it is a YouTube video which is accessible at: watch?v=v6FSZRIc6eg

As friarsol said above, at least one instance of this bug has been fixed and we're curious if this fix covers your problem. If you're able to replicate the bug reliably, here's a build of the latest snapshot that includes the aforementioned fix that you can use to see if the bug is still present.Greentryst wrote:I just resumed using Forge, having quit when I encountered a freeze condition in 1.5.4 that was not addressed. Hey guys, got a crash after playing Enchanted Evening . The problem is the blank crash report window that kept reappearing after closing it.

Ries of Eagles is creating wrong token -- THS 2/2 bird instead of BNG 2/2 bird that is also an enchatment.

We haven't updated scripts for JOU tokens, so many of them might be wrong.Marek14 wrote:Ries of Eagles is creating wrong token -- THS 2/2 bird instead of BNG 2/2 bird that is also an enchatment.

Fixed. If this card is clicked, the program will ask if you want to remove all counters now.Xyx wrote:When I click Sage of Hours, all +1/+1 counters are immediately removed. Well, there are four JOU cards that create already existing tokens:swordshine wrote:We haven't updated scripts for JOU tokens, so many of them might be wrong.Marek14 wrote:Rise of Eagles is creating wrong token -- THS 2/2 bird instead of BNG 2/2 bird that is also an enchatment.
King Macar, the Gold-Cursed - there's only one Gold token for now.
Revel of the Fallen God - there's still only one kind of 2/2 red/green Satyr token, though it's not showing for me at all for some reason, even for Xenagos.
Launch the Fleet - should use the Soldier tokens from Theros (Elspeth ones, not Akroan Horse ones).
Rise of Eagles - should use the BNG 2/2 Bird.

The classic Project X combo (i.e. Crypt Champion and Saffi Eriksdotter) doesn't work. Once you have activated Saffi's ability once, targeting the Champion, the Champion keeps returning from the graveyard repeatedly, with no way to break the loop.
It should only return once, at which point it becomes a new object, with no memory of being targeted by Saffi.
