alot of people saying that xlhq is 300dpi but im only seeing 96dpi?

The XLHQs show as 600dpi, I don't know what it means.

Ultimately the dpi/ppi doesn't make a difference, just the actual pixel dimensions. A 72dpi image of 480x680px will print the same quality as a 600dpi image at 480x680px if they're printed the same size, and they'll both display the same on a monitor.

It might be better to ask, why doesn't MWS use Gatherer abbreviations?

I downloaded the torrent and then extracted everything and for the most part everything went ok, but I did get 2 corrupted image errors below.

Are these images available, outside the torrent or can they be included in the next update?

I'm trying to use the XLHQs - My understanding was those are supposed to be 300 DPI. They keep showing up as 96 DPI.

I realize that 96 DPI and a larger image size corresponds to 300 DPI at the actual card size, but is there any way to get it to show up as 300 DPI when I open the file?

The only way to get the setting to show 300DPI (to my knowledge) is to actually open the file in a picture editor and change the DPI settings (do not allow the image editing software to adjust the actual HxW size when doing so) and save the file once again. This can be batched in photohshop easily but just curious why does it matter? The PPI resolution aligns with DPI resolution of 300 and the DPI settings won't matter till you get the image laid down on some type of printed surface. At that point there's a higher likely hood the printing device your using may not be able to produce the fine enough pico's to create that fine of an image area in such a small field of print.

No news for quite a long time. When can we expect a Born of the Gods release ? I'm asking because usually (with previous expansions) the release come sooner. So I'm a worried it will never be released if someone could assure me it's still in the pipe !

We only got the final missing card a few days ago. Now the set can get processed.

I don't want to sound nasty here so please don't interpret it as such? These people doing these scans are doing them for the community and they are doing it gratis. All things considered, I think these people deserve a standing ovation for the hard work they do and it seems to me that they have been quite communicative.
