Postby Chris H. » 07 Jun 2009, 16:42

This archive contains updated rarity files for MTG Forge 06-06. I added the values for the 25 new cards. This set is not compatible with earlier versions of forge.

He's modest.

Not at all :D
I just forgot to mention it... funny too, because that's what was the most time-consuming, probably.

I think I really broke it this time. I've been staring at "Computer's End of Turn - Play Instants and Abilities" after I clicked OK to switch to the beginning of my turn for 6 minutes now and nothing happens.
I have a Mycoloth with 256 counters on it in play and a Rhys the redeemed to double my tokens each turn.
The big empty grey areas left and right of the play area have returned but no double row of tokens yet.
8 minutes, Game still hangs, I'm calling it officially dead now.
That went quicker than I expected. But I have to admit I am not surprised. There must have been close to or even over 2500 tokens in play on my side.
No wonder compy threw the towel. LOL!
And to think I went easy on him! I mean, there wasn't even a single Essence Warden in play!

WOW! Ok, so I just assume there might be some slowdowns caused by the stacking, but nothing serious. It's mostly just the fact that there's just way too many of them :)
Thanks for testing this, I'll move on to implementing Auras.

I also noticed that for lands you can just click on the top card of the stack, I know how to fix this for moxes, and I can probably fix it for attacking tokens as well.

The slow downs continue regardless of tokens/counters. Even though I have a new machine I have noticed considerable slow downs even after just 1 game and sometimes during the first game of a match, and not merely in Quest Mode.

I do know that it still happens with the incarnations (Wonder, Anger, Valor), so badly that I refuse to play with them.

Equipment and everything is great. The code monkeys that you are using are really good, keep them (joke). Version 2 may never get written since version 1 is so good. Thanks for the effort.

I would like to second the motion that equipment and the card stacking routines are working fine, from what i can tell. I have not noticed any slow downs either.

I repeated the New Quest action and checked my cards until I received a Behemoth Sledge. I got lucky and found that I also had a Enlightened Tutor. On a couple of occasions, I was able to equip a First Strike creature. That was so much fun.
