Since the last version, forge seems to have some kind of memory leak. I mean, I reported sudden device reboots before, but those were almost always caused by extended browsing in the card library. Since the last version these reboots can happen at any time: e.g. in a match, between matches in the editor, etc. It happens even after some time of inactivity.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I have not noticed this myself, and I've played several games on the latest version. Is it possible you're just running a lot of other apps at the same time on your device? Have you tried seeing how much memory Forge is using when running?

My device says i have 614 MB RAM total. If i don't run forge i have 300-400 free RAM (no other apps, except the system apps). I often noticed when switching from forge to "desktop-screen" that i have only 100 MB left. Is this normal? And also why do those reboots happen since the last update?

Edit: My phone should have 1024 MB RAM...???

I am! I have set AI to "Random Decks: Random Generated Deck". Now I started Forge 5 times and it happened once, see screenshot. What I also have seen: it randomly generates decks with 40 cards and then complains this is not allowed. Well it shouldn't generate such decks then, I think.

EDIT: Here's a better one.

BTW on the buttons you can see, Forge is not ready for high resolutions at a lot of places.

I just released 1.5.28.001, which fixes some bugs with X mana cost cards and effects and updates the version inline with the Beta, which is skipping 1.5.27. This release also fixes some issues with the Auto button sacrificing permanents for mana when such wasn't necessary, and overall makes the Auto button smarter about how it prioritizes which sources to use first.

Some of you may have noticed the recent addition of achievements. Well, I just released 1.5.28.002, which adds a trophy case for viewing achievements you've already earned as well as others you can earn.

Achievements.png

As you can see, you can click on any trophy (or the empty space for trophies you haven't earned yet) to view a tooltip with more details about the achievement and what it takes to earn a Bronze, Silver, and Gold trophy for that achievement. Also note the combo box at the top, which you can use the select the game mode to view achievements for, as achievements are kept separate for each game mode.

Stay tuned as we continue to add more achievements in future releases of the desktop game and Android app, and feel free to join the discussion if you have ideas.

Thanks.

The app itself is pretty small, and all the other files are likely still on your mobile device unless you specifically deleted them, since they're not tied directly to the app. You could check the Forge folder of your device's SD card to see if they're still there.
Thanks drdev, i did accidently deleted the entire forge folder on my phone, so, if I want to download all the stuff using my desktop, where can I find them? like a url maybe?

Thank you very much!

Just use the url from the first post of this thread. The folder containing the .apk also contains a zip file with the resource files, which can be downloaded and extracted to the Forge directory on your device. To avoid being prompted to download the files again on startup, you'll also want to create a file in the Forge folder named version.txt and put the version you install (like 1.5.28.002) in that file.

The desktop version doesn't suffer from this issue.

I just released 1.5.27.001, which fixes this bug in addition to updating to the latest Beta version. You should no longer be prompted about cards in the AI's deck they can't play well if you use random deck generation for Constructed.
I must say I have seen this message very often. Maybe with .002 you have undone the fix?

Yes, those are going to be available for both the desktop and mobile versions.

For those who haven't seen them, I encourage you to check out this thread:

Re: Forge Android App: 09-19-2014 Alpha 1.5.28.003

I'm excited to announce the release of 1.5.28.003, which not only includes the 96%+ of Khans of Tarkir that has been implemented so far, but also includes an awesome set of new achievements with slick unique art for each achievement's trophy and a high-resolution trophy case to display them in.

AchievementEarned2.png

Note that the Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers have also been replaced with Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Mythic tiers inline with Magic's rarities. This not only adds a fourth tier of difficulty to each achievement (can you say, turn 0 win?), it also adds some nice MTG flavor.

Stay tuned as more achievements are already under development, such as ones for every card-based alternate win condition (e.g. Darksteel Reactor), as well as ones for winning a game after activating every Planeswalker's ultimate.

If you have ideas for other achievements or concerns over the thresholds for existing achievements, please post them in this thread.

This update has completely broken for me (using HTC One M8). I just get a black screen on start-up. Tried clearing cache, uninstalling, deleting whole folder, reinstalling. Goes to a black screen every time.

P.s. can we get an option to filter decks by folder please? (Like in the desktop app) thanks.

Edit: after re-downloading and installing from fresh and it still going to a black screen I checked the forge folder and it's now empty
