Mayael's Aria does not trigger Achivement, or does it not work with Dev-Mode? (needed to generate mana because some cards where broken)
Helix Pinnacle also does not trigger Achivement

Azor's Elocutors also does not trigger Achivement !did worked


sometimes if i should get a Achivement, Forge is hanging ...

If you've used any Dev Mode actions, you can't earn achievements. This was implemented on purpose to allow testing without accidentally earning achievements, as well as to prevent people resorting to using Dev Mode as a shortcut to earning achievements. Note that having Dev Mode turned on alone won't stop you from earning achievements, only using a Dev action during a game.

ah ok i was wondering, that does complicate some Mystic Ranks, like win in turn 0 or wining without hand, field, library or grave ... for the later one i dont even have an idea how to do that

and like i said in the edit that sometimes it does hang when i should get an Achivement

That's why they're Mythic. :D

As for the hang, does it hang before or after you get the dialog for earning the achievement?

for the hang: it does happen before the dialog would appear, and no button does respond ... but somehow it might work the next time (hm or maybe not)

I have a strange feeling that this lock-up may be related to this elusive "hang after the match ends" bug reported originally here (has been around for a while and is definitely still an issue on certain systems):

That's why they're Mythic. :D
This Mystic Hellbent really is a hard one. I have a deck winning with empty hand, empty library, empty battlefield and 1 card in graveyard.
Now I have to find a way to get rid of that last card.

Why can't spells just been put into the graveyard and afterwards the stack resolves??? ... *grrrr* :wink:

Well, if you use a flashback spell, it will be exiled instead of going to the graveyard. There are also some cards that exile themselves upon resolution, such as Worst Fears.

I'm glad to hear somebody is attempting to find a way to earn that achievement. I created the Hellbent achievement before the introduction of the 4th tier, so I'll admit I wasn't sure how possible it was to pull it off. Good luck. :)

Flashback was the one hint I needed. "Mystic Hellbent" earned. So it IS POSSIBLE.

Now I have to create a 60 cards deck that is able to beat a real enemy.

Hey guys, nice to know that new ideias are popping out, the challenges achievements sound great.

So, here are the missing pictures for the alt-win achievements, Phage and the door. I've also made an alternative picture for Phage with this pretty sick art by chainSMA on DeviantArt, i personally think it works best on such a small resolution than the original art, but it's up to you to decide wich one do you want to use on your system.

PS: How on earth did you managed to beat Hellbent, Phoenix? That's just a rethorical question but hell, that's one though challenge, must be in the top 5 of most cruel achievements ever, decked out and need for speed are also there, they are only topped by "Lose the game with Storm Crow on the battlefield under your control", that's an impossible one to get ahah

I just finished adding 5 more tiered achievements to all 4 game types:

  • Arcane Master - win a game without casting more than 3, 2, 1, 0 spells
    (NOTE: named after Arcane Laboratory)
  • Storm Chaser - win a game after casting 5, 10, 20, 50 spells in a single turn
    (NOTE: doesn't have to be final turn, so feel free to attack with your Empty the Warrens tokens)
  • Mana Screwed - win a game despite playing only 3, 2, 1, 0 lands
    (NOTE: counts lands played, so no saccing all your lands to achieve this)
  • Mana Flooded - win a game with 8, 12, 18, 24 lands on the battlefield
    (NOTE: numbers change to 8, 11, 14, 17 for limited formats)
  • Rags to Riches - win a game after mulliganing to 4, 3, 2, 1 cards

Let me know if you have any thoughts on these new achievements. Also, Rooger, do you think you could create images for them?
